I met this british bullet
With eyes glued shut and swollen
Said she never had a window or a door
Her soul is too appealing
To watch her skin keep peeling
Or wait for her to wash up on the shore
Does your heart hunger, for passion and desire?
Do your scars wonder, how to douse the fire?
Without life's waters
I've tried to be inspiring, but it's hard when you keep spiraling fast and hard
My words may hit like lightning, but they're just designed to brighten up your heart
Go ahead and pull your hair back
It might get you on the fast track
Or you could put away your misery and strife
So get rid of all the cocaine
It's time to use your whole brain
You've raked coals into your bossom your whole life
Does your heart hunger, for patience and for loving?
Do your scars wonder, why the painfulness keeps coming?
Are you going under?
I rushed in for the rescue, but you played it like an actress well on cue
And you may crash into the asphalt, but we both know well who's at fault and babe it's you
Does your heart hunger
Does your heart hunger
