Note:
So bare with me here, I am aware that these next few chapters won't be the best thing you've read, but I do really appreciate you spending your time to look at this book. I wrote these chapters a long time ago and I'm still working on executing the main points of these next couple chapters. Just trust me, it will get goood. Enjoy and don't be afraid to give a vote or share you feedback through the comments, it really does mean the world to me!

I flicker my eyes open and notice three bright overhead lights above me. I squeeze them shut again and grab my aching head.

Ahh.

I raise my body up off the bed I had woken up on, and look around the brightly lit room. Im surrounded by bleach white walls and grey tile flooring. On the same wall as the bed, a grayish door with no handle is tucked into the corner. I look up at the roof and notice a small camera.

Where am I? Where's Mom and Dad?

"Mom? Dad?" I call out, my voice quivering as I do.

My attention shifts to the grey door as it slowly opens. I stand up and walk over to see a man in a white coat and white pants. My heart sinks at the sight of the man. A man who makes me want to throw up in fear. I open my mouth, but no words come out. He closes the door behind him and walks over to the bed.

"Your probably wondering what your doing here right?" He asks patting the bed motioning me to sit down.

First off, why would I do that. Second off, I don't know this man and I don't know where I am. My sadness shifts into, Well I don't know what. I feel like crying and begging for my parents, but at the same time, I have this weird tingling feeling that makes me want to hit him. I open my mouth reddy to speak, but the mysterious man interrupts.

"I know you don't know who I am, but your parents brought you here." Here comes the tingly feeling. "We just need to do a few simple test in you and then you can go back to your parents. Okay?"

Fair enough.

I nod. At least what he's saying makes it a little easier. Although I don't know this man, if Mom and Dad brought me here it must have been for a reason. And I trust them, so in a way I trust this man? Then again I am only seven, so I don't even really trust myself.

The strange man walks up to me and reaches his hand out to me.

What? Does he want me to hold it?

He pulls his hand back and scratches his neck before placing his hand in my back and directing me to the grey door. He pushes a button on his wrist and it slowly begins to open pushing cold air into our faces. As we walk through, we enter a brightly lit and empty white hallway.

The man looks down at me and begins to speak, "So, I herd it's your birthday. How old are you turning?"

We turn down entering another hallway The only different thing this time, is that it's much longer and it has a large white metal door at the end. After an awkward silence of me still deciding weather or not I should speak to this man, the words flow out of my mouth without any control what so ever.

"I'll be turning eight tomorrow. My parents and I were going to drive down to my grandparents and celebrate it with them at the beach."

He goes silent for a moment, but then pats me on the shoulder, "Well that sounds like fun." He says as his voice cracks. As he finishes up we approach the door.

He takes his hand away from me and types the numbers 5, 7, 2, 9, and 0, into a keypad making small beeps each time. After he finishes he walks back over to me and tells me to step back. I do as told and stand next to him watching the big, white, metal door open.

*I really like how this is going so far and want to keep writing it. I've got some great ideas for this one so leave a vote if you like it as well. Also beware, it may be bad right now-8 wrote it at 3am*
