hailey began to confront calum about why he would sleep in the same bed as ashton instead of his girlfriend. she questioned why he no longer kissed her goodnight and spoke to her only when necessary.

calum would get angry. his eyes would hold a defensive glint and his fists would curl up at his sides.

he'd say that hailey was being delusional and storm off with a mumble about going for a smoke.

hailey found calum and ashton outside their apartment. calum's face buried in ashton's shoulder, eyes closed as a different kind of calm washed over him. ashton didn't leave.

hailey asked what was going on but calum stormed off again and ashton shrugged because he had no idea what was going on between the two.
