As time passed by, calum became the poison again. He was put on medication and had to go back to therapy. He felt lost without ashton.

Nothing in the apartment had changed. Ashton's coffee cup stayed on the bedside table from that morning and his other belongings hadn't moved an inch either. Calum couldn't bring himself to move anything. Nor could he bring himself to sleep on ashton's side of the bed. Even when hailey heard that ashton had died and she moved back in without a warning, calum didn't do anything.

She tried to clean up and make room for her things but all calum did was swallow down his anger and hurt, and move her things away.

When things became bad, calum began to lash out at her. Like before, he wouldn't speak to her until she did something that threw him off the edge and made him fall apart. She tried to help. She tried to promise him a better future if he gave her a second chance.

But calum only wanted ashton.
