while everyone else is swimming
it's like you're screaming, desperately calling out for help
but everyone around you is Deaf.

an overwhelming, heart pounding feeling
that leaves tears in your eyes
as you try to keep yourself from breaking down
while everyone around you is so oblivious to the pain you're experiencing
you're alone with yourself
and your stupid, stupid thoughts
that make you shake and pout
and question everyone and every goddamn thing
as you grip tighter to the pillow held against your chest
hot, salty tears streaming your face
and no one notices!
NO ONE FUCKING NOTICES!!
you can't stop crying
you're alone
and you're hurting
while everyone around you
is having a nice time
you're alone
in that crowded room
losing your god damn mind
...
just waiting for someone to ask
if you're alright
