I sat in a small cafe, tucked towards the wall reading one of those decorative books so my face was hidden.
My heart was beating so fast, I had managed to escape. I was still in my school uniform and I had no idea where the put my school bag or phone.
"Would you like some coffee sweetheart?" A woman's voice snapped me out of my thoughts.
I peered over the book, the woman had grey hair and a warm smile on her face. "No thank you." I muttered.
"Honey, are you alright? You look as if you've seen a ghost."
I sighed and nodded and tried to give her an assuring smile. But I failed and instead tears slide down my face.
"Darling.." she pulled the chair out from across from me and sat down. Setting her coffee pot on the little table. "Are you alright? Shall I phone the police?"
Why did I not think of that before! Why didn't I phone the police yet. When I nodded, the woman gave me a sympathy smile and stood up.
Mom is probably so worried about me. I didn't know how I felt about her, I felt anger, confusion and most importantly I felt hurt she didn't trust me enough to tell her secrets. If she had just told me.. none of this wouldn't have happened.
I would've been aware of the fact that I was blood related to one of the most powerful gangs. I would have been careful. As I thought more of it, I was seething. How could mom have fucked a gang leader? Was she on drugs?!
"Fancy seeing you here."
My eyeballs nearly rolled out from their sockets. Standing right there, a few feet from me was that witty curly haired boy.
His hands were inside his pocket and his eyes were gleaming with mischievousness. I gulped, fear was paralysing my body as each second passed.
When he sat down that's when I cried uncontrollably.
"Please don't!" I gasped for air as I continued my pathetic cries. "I just want to go home! Please let me be."
I felt sick to my stomach when all he did was laugh.
"You don't exactly have the personality of a Castello." When I gave him a confused look he went on, "you know, evil as fuck, cunning and strong."
My cries have died down to sniffles. "You're just plain weak and pathetic. I guess that's to blame being raised by Meredith Shepherd." He emphasised 'Shepherd'.
"C'mon time to go," I watched as he checked his phone for the time and stood up.
"No! The police are coming and you and your little gang of freaks will be arrest-" his hand smacked over my wrist and easily pulled me up.
"My little gang of freaks control the police, therefore no love they're not coming."
My throat closed up, I felt as if I couldn't speak. All I wanted to do in that moment of time was to die.
"You know the kind old woman who offered to call the police for you," he said as he pushed me outside. "She called The Circle instead. Liam told me to get you, you should've seen his face when he found out you escaped."
"Well he shouldn't have unbuckled the shackles," I snipped back.
Did they expect me to be all good and stay in the room when I find the door unlocked? I'm being held there against my will!
"Actually I did." He snapped. "No need to give him the recognition for a good deed he didn't do."
We reached a black Range Rover with black tinted windows. Curly haired guy opened the door and shoved me in. I protested my sticking my finger at him to which he gave me a grin with his dimples fully on display before slamming the door.

I wanted the ground to swallow me whole at this current time. I stood in front of Liam and curly haired guy and beside curly was this other guy. He had warm brown eyes but the rest of his appearance screamed 'don't fuck wth me.'
"You could have been kidnaped." Liam spoke after the several minutes of silence.
"Wouldn't be worse," I retorted back and instantly regretted it when I saw Liam clench his fist with anger.
Within seconds he was only inches away from my face.
"You little fucking bitch!" He screamed. I closed my eyes and let more tears fall. "You think you have all of this figured out don't you?!" I went to open my mouth to comment but he continued, "I would fucking kill you for this attitude you have going on but you're my sister and that defeats the purpose of having bringing my family together again."
"Harry," Liam turned around to curly haired guy. "Put her with him. Maybe that'll teach her a lesson."
Harry, the curly haired guy nodded. His eyes had a glint of amusement as he grabbed my arm and easily pulled me away.
When we were out of Liam's sight and earshot. I asked the dreaded question that was eating me alive.
"Who's he?" Harry's eyes glanced at me and he smirked.
"Greyson Castello."
For the second time, it felt like the air left my lungs. "But- how- he's dead!" I manage to say.
"One thing you should know about Liam he lies," Harry shrugged nonchalantly. "Probably got that from your mother," he laughed at his own lame joke as I hid my annoyance.
He pulled my downstairs and took several turns before coming in front of a door, it was bolted shut. Almost looking like a cell door.
"I actually feel pity for you," Harry gave me a confused look. Before shaking his head.
"Nah I think it's just hunger." He grinned before unlocking the bolted door and pushing me inside. I landed on my back and cursed.
"Meredith?" A voice spoke above me.
