We arrived at Liam's place. It was in the heart of the city. I couldn't wrap my head around the luxuriousness of the place. His apartment was the penthouse of the building so the views from the top were surreal.

He was living like this meanwhile my mum could barely afford to put food on the table. She worked day and night to afford the bills and send me to a proper school. It made me feel guilty that I was here. But it wasn't by choice. I was forced to here and if I could leave I would in a heartbeat.

I stared at the small cars and the people who looked like ants. You could basically see everything from up here. I felt a sense of security being so high up. I liked the feeling of seeing everything and everyone.

"This was my first place."

I gasped and looked around to see it was only Liam. I hadn't even heard him coming. My heart relaxed at the sight of him and I looked away to see the breathtaking view.

"I've never seen anything like this.." I say still gazing at the beauty unfolding in front of my eyes. It was probably even more stunning at night. I could just imagine the buildings lit up with people going on about their lives. The cars with people just driving through the night.

Liam appeared in my peripheral vision next to me as he looked at the view as well. "Yeah I fell in love with this place and instantly brought it. I liked being so high up and seeing everyone."

"Liam." Harry called interrupting us. I turned around to see him. His tattooed arms were crossed across his chest and stern eyes looked at Liam. "I need to talk to you." His green eyes at me then looked away almost immediately, "alone" he adds.

What was up with him?

He wasn't acting like himself. Not that I knew him that well but I knew him a little to know that he was being weird. He hadn't said a word the entire car ride here.

Except snarky comments here and there under his breath. I was sure Liam would snap at him but he didn't he just ignored Harry.

"Sure." Liam nodded and walked past me. He turned around to glance at me at the last second "your room is upstairs to the left." He said softly before following Harry out of the living room.

I stared at them walking past with a raised brow. What was that about? I looked away back at the view in front of me. I wanted to know why Harry was acting so weirdly. Does it have something to do with why he wanted to talk to Liam alone.. is it about me? I bit my lip and softly tapped the glass. I should just go upstairs and see what my room looked like. Or.. maybe I could just slowly walk by where ever Harry and Liam were and see if I could eavesdrop.

I decided to go with the latter option.

I step out of the living room and stare at the grand staircase in front of me with a chandelier hanging over the top of it. On my right was the elevator which we got inside with and on my left with a hallway probably leading to the other various places in this place.

I slowly crept to my left pretending I admiring the paintings that hung on the walls. They were actually quite beautiful and probably worth millions.

I appeared in the kitchen and it almost took my breath away. It was extremely extravagant and it was all glass behind it showcasing the buildings we were surrounded by. This place was stunning.

"Why the fuck would you do that!" I heard Harry's voice yell.

I stopped and looked at my left to see a closed door where I heard his voice from. It must be an office.
