It has been a month since I was kidnapped. If I hadn't got that letter then I just knew all my hope and faith would've been lost about getting found. It relieved a little part of my mind knowing my mother was doing her very best to find me.
I stared at the little edge of paper sticking out from
under the lamp before quickly moving the letter completely under the lamp. I could not risk anyone finding out about this.It was my only hope.
"Olivia!" I hear my name getting called by Harry. Seconds later he burst inside. I scanned my eyes up and down, he was wearing a black shirt tucked into a dressy black pants. His left hand clutched a black blazer and a gold watch adorned his right wrist. And that necklace belonging to his mother hung down his slightly exposed chest.
"Ready?" He asked curtly down at his wrist for the time.
I nodded looking at myself for the last time. My hair was down in curls and pinned slightly back. I was wearing a champagne coloured silk dress that tightly hugged my waist and reached down to my ankles. The skin toned heels I was wearing made me look slightly taller than usual which was expected. I quickly put the pearl earrings before turning to Harry and following him downstairs.
"Where are we going?" I asked reaching the last step and following him towards the elevator.
Liam was already inside waiting and holding the door. As we stepped in the doors smoothly closed. I looked at Liam's tuxedo. It was a maroon colour and it suited him quite nicely.
"To an important party." Harry mumbled reaching into his pocket to grab his phone.
"I don't think I need to tell you to behave yourself eh?" Liam asked looking at me with his piercing gaze. I shook my head and looked away.
"Will I get raped this time?" I shot back looking at Liam. His eyes narrowed and I saw his hands clenching into fists by his side. Just as he was about to open his mouth and ruin my night Harry silenced us both.
"Olivia shut up." Harry turned to me putting his phone back into his pocket. "Liam you too."
We walked towards the car, I walked gingerly behind them. I could hear their hushed voices talking to one another eagerly. What do they talk about so much? I hated the fact I was kept in the dark because it wasn't like I could do anything with that information. I could barely leave the house without Harry or one of Liam's men. And I knew firsthand what the emergency service people were like. So it really didn't make any sense.
I got into the black sleek car next to Harry as Liam was in the front with a driver.
"Where are we going?" I asked Harry.
The question has been burning my mind because I woke up this morning and a parcel was inside my room. And when I opened it, this beautiful silk dress was in there along with the heels.
As expected I was ignored. I rolled my eyes and gave my attention to the passing buildings.
The drive was quite long. We weaved through the London city passing beautiful beautiful buildings lined with people waiting outside for their parties.
My mind was occupied with so much. Mostly Harry. I didn't know what we had and it made me feel so foolish because I was so much more younger than him. I probably looked like a pathetic school girl with a crush. And that's exactly what it was.
"Noticed you've cut your hair." Harry murmured beside me as Liam made small conversation with the driver.
I brought my hand and threaded my fingers through the curled hair while looking at Harry.
I didn't think he noticed. It was a subtle change, just a few inches shorter. But he's noticed it.
"Yes. When I went out with Roger.." I glanced at him to see his jaw clenched at the mention of Roger. Why does he care so much about fucking Roger? It was infuriating.
"I don't want you to mention him again." His demeanour changed quickly. His green eyes narrowed at me waiting for me to challenge him and that was exactly what I was going to do.
"What? Why not?" I snapped back crossing my arms over my chest. I tried to be silent so Liam couldn't hear us from the front but it seems like he's too busy talking about random shit with the driver.
"Because I said so." Harry fired back, shuffling sideways so he was facing me properly.
"I don't think you get to pick who and—"
"We're here." Liam spoke over me. Harry smirked and pushed the door open. I glanced out of the car at the beautiful building we were parked in front of. I cautiously took Harry's hand he was holding out to help me. My left hand clutched the dress up so it didn't tangle with my heels and my right hand was gripping Harry's so I could easily get out of the vehicle.
As I was out, Harry reached behind me and slammed the car door shut and snaked his arm around my waist and I couldn't help feel the butterflies in my stomach. I hated the way he made me feel. I hated what I was feeling towards him too because he would never feel the same as I.
We walked up the stairs into the elegantly lit building. I stared at the women who passed me in glamorous dresses. Their dresses are shades of colours I had never seen.
"C'mon." Harry whispered his arm tightening around my waist as a bunch of men in suits passed. Their eyes snaked down my body making Harry stir me up another staircase.
"What is this?" I asked as we approached a buff man. His eyes landed on Harry and he opened a door with a sign that read 'V.I.P'.
"Harry. Seriously what is this?" I whispered furiously into his ear as we passed tables of men playing some sort of card game with millions of money stacked in front of them.
"Welcome to underworld baby."
