Light was shining through my window onto my bed. It came to the point where I just had to wake up because the heat was unbearable. I slowly opened my eyes and saw the beautiful sunrise. I looked at my left and saw her laying with her head on my chest, snoring softly. I carefully laid my hand on her cheek, caressing her skin underneath my hand.
Her eyes fluttered open and a big smile appeared on her face when she saw me. 'Good morning , gorgeous.' I mumbled causing her to chuckle a little bit. 'Good morning.' I pointed at the window and whispered softly in her ear, 'I thought that you would like to see this.' She slowly but carefully laid her on top of me just so we could see the sunrise together.
'I want to ask you something, actually.' I told her, without removing my gaze at her. She nodded and laid her head back on my chest. Playing with my hair. 'Tell me.' She mumbled against my skin. 'Since I've met you, I literally feel so much better and happier than I ever did. I had many relationships but they are nothing compared with us. I remember that you told me that you always dated with men who weren't how they appeared but I'm not like them. I'm falling all in you, honey. Really hard and I honestly don't wanna stop. You bring the light back in my darkness. I'm not even the only person who loves you. My whole family loves you and even my team. They see how much I'm changed because of you. Not in a negative way, but in a positive way. I seriously see a future for us. With kids and maybe a dog. I just know that I want to spend my life with you and only you. So please be mine officially.' She lifted her head up and some tears streamed down her cheeks while a big smile grew softly on her face. 'Ofcourse I wanna be yours, Shawn.' I grabbed her face between my hands and slammed our lips together. Just the touch of our lips makes the butterflies in my stomach crazy. I pulled back and rested my forehead against hers. 'I love you.' 'I love you too.'
