Rain was pouring down the streets like millions of buckets filled with water. A young man stormed into the club with wet clothes. A group of guys cheered for him, making him smile really big. A young girl around his age stood against the bar, looking at the young man.

A weird feeling rushed through her body, something unknown. The man walked towards his friends and immediately got a beer. Some friends whispered things in his ear, making him look around. Until his eyes met hers. He looked back at his friends and whispered intensely something to him. The girl walked towards her friends on the dance floor and started to dance with them.

Her hips were swinging with the beat of the music, not caring about everyone in this room. Suddenly there were hands on her hips, helping her dancing. She turned around and saw the young man dancing with her. 'What? Hey?,' she whispered in his ear making him blush.

'Do you know me?,'

he asked after awhile. She shook her head and stepped back. 'I. No, who are you?,' the man lead her to a quiet place and waited until she was ready to hear what he had to say. 'I am Shawn Mendes, we grew up together but after your accident you forgot about me.' He took her hand, slowly pulling her closer to him.

'When you walked into the club, I knew that you were someone to me but I forgot,' a little smile grew on his face. 'Was there something more between us?,' she questioned whilst he was stroking her cheek. He nodded and placed a kiss on her forehead sending shivers down her spine. 'We were together for almost two years but after your accident I decided to back off because you needed to recover from all of your injuries.'

She took his hand and ran towards the entrance. 'What are we doing?' He questioned while putting his jacket on. 'Let me remember stuff, I need to remember everything.' They walked out without saying anything to anyone, it was now just the two of them somewhere in Toronto. The girl just followed Shawn, a stranger but yet still someone she knew. 'Tell me more about you?,' she asked whilst he was just guiding her through the biggest city of Canada.

'So I'm Shawn Peter Raul Mendes. You always loved it when I said my whole name. I am some weeks older than you, we grew up together. I am a singer, a famous one but that doesn't matter. I have a sister, she's 15 and the best.' He paused and just stood there at the entrance of the park. 'Aaliyah,' she whispered softly. His eyes shot towards hers and a killer smile appeared on his face. 'You remember?,'

she nodded and started to walk towards the massive tree. 'We used to walk here a lot. You loved the green and how it's different than all of the skyscrapers here. There was a time where you draw everything that you saw here. And there,' he pointed to a little coffee shop right in front of them, 'there was our first kiss. That coffee shop was the place to be, whenever you were in Toronto you were there for some hours.

Just reading or drawing. You loved their Latte Macchiato Caramel.' Her head was laying on his shoulder, just trying to remember things about him and her previous life. 'I still draw, read and paint. Latte Macchiato Caramel is still my favourite coffee and I still love this park,' she mentioned. He took her hand and intertwined their fingers. 'I still love you, you know. So maybe you want to? You know?,' she looked at him and remembered some old memories.

How he asked her out, how he was always by her side whenever there was a storm, how he carefully helped her with a drawing, but most important how he loved her. A single tear escaped from her eye right when he was looking at her. 'I want to give it a try,' he locked her in his arms and hugged her to death. 'Thank you, oh gosh I missed you,' he whispered against her hair right before he kissed her after these years.

And with that single kiss, everything came back. Every emotion, memory and feeling. She remembered him again, after all these years.
