I didn't really pay much attention to Ethan who was now on his knee. he grabbed my hand "now my dear Cinderella can I trouble you for a dance?" he smirked playfully. as he said this I couldn't help but feel glares and whispers about who I was and why Ethan wanted me to dance with him. I looked at the girls then smiled back at Ethan "i would love to." as Zedd featuring Hayley Williams song stay the night came on

Juliana's POV

I arrived at the gala with Ryan on my heels. I scoped out and made sure everything was to my liking as I made my way into the building.

"Juliana," mother said rushing over to me.

She decided on dressing up wearing a long black gown with a sweet heart neck line and her hair swept to the side in a curled up do with a light smokey eye "yes mother?" I said impatiently "i need you to keep a watch out of 'the pest'," a nickname we gave Isabella when she wasn't around "i know her and her friend are going to try and sneak in , so if you see anything suspicious let me know." she said while pulling a mini flask from her bodice and taking a drink. "whatever," I rolled my eyes while pulling Ryan to the party. "Ryan could you go and get me something to drink?" I smiled and kissed his cheek "sure." I watched as he left.

"Hey Juliana!" I cringed and turned around to come face to face with one of my old friends, Rebecca. She had her regular blonde bob and brown eyes that were masked with black eyeliner and a slightly slim figure and like some other girls I had seen earlier she was wearing skin tight clothing with cat ears, you know typical slut wear.

"hey rebecca nice costume," I faked a smile. "thank you but i love yours it's so risque ." she said eyeing it. I wore a ruby red high low dress that fanned out in the back, the bottom had a black glitter ombred while the top was encrusted with gold beading and black hearts going down the center, while I kept my hair in loose curls and make up to a bold smokey eye and a light red lipstick I had a small crown to complete the costume "thank you." I began remembering why i stopped hanging around Rebecca. It was freshman year, the year when I discovered she had a mural in her closet of me which was beyond creepy and she always wanted to wear everything I wore and she even tried to steal Chris(my ex) from me how pathetic. I was quickly knocked from my thoughts when Ryan held a small goblet in front of my face "thank you Ry."

"so who's this juli?" she smiled eagerly while walking over ryan and placing her hand on his chest

"I'm Ryan....and you are?" he said while removing her hand nicely "rebecca....well Ryan what are you supposed to be?"she asked eyeing his costume, which wasn't much compared to mine. He wore black dress pants and a plain white button up with a black jacket "well I am supposed to be a knight, but I didn't have any armor so I just went with this," "well you look very handsome,but..." rebecca cooed "what?" ryan asked curiously "hold up I'll be right back." we watched as she ran out of sight. I sighed "I'm going to look for Stacy and Jenn," I started to walk off but he grabbed my arm "aren't you going to wait for her?" "no, but you can come find me when your done waiting." I waved without looking back.

I made my way near the stage and found my friends both dressed as a cross between angel and devil talking with two guys,one dressed as bat man and the other as superman.

" Hey girls."i walked up to them and their mouths dropped "come now girls don't wanna catch flies now do we?" I laughed "you look gorgeous!" Stacy said "totally." Jennifer squealed "juli baby I hear you're single?"bat man came and snaked his arm around me, I gagged a little "that's none of your concern now is it Andy, now I suggest you remove your arm before I do it for you." I looked him dead in his eyes as he let me go "hey look Juliana that guy is dressed as a minion." jenn looked over towards the stairs, I turned to see the two guys that came with ryan earlier in the year,I always forgot their names....was it Martin and Barry? I don't remember.
