Peter held his hand out to shake Oliver's, "Hi I'm Oliver," he smiled back at him.

"Hey- uh- Do you think you could show me where the art room is?" Oliver asked while some nervousness coating his now quiet voice, "Actually, I was just about to go there. I have art, the first period. I'm guessing you do too." he replied picking up Oliver's book that had dropped when the two bumped into each other.

"Okay! Cool, thanks." Oliver beamed with surprise as Peter started to walk in the direction of the art classroom, "So Oliver, how come I've never seen you here before?" Peter asked raising an eyebrow jokingly.

"I'm from- you know what it doesn't really matter, it was pretty far away actually." he smiled as Peter seemed to as well.

"Oh okay, where did you go to school originally?" Peter asked trying to make his way through a hurdle of teens and the odd trash can, "Actually, I was homeschooled. My dad's friends and co-workers taught me everything, so this is my first real time at a school." he replied before Peter opened the door to the art room.

People were around everywhere- it's like the jungle but with teenagers. Kind of similar to that one scene in Mean Girls, kids everywhere. Some were calming at quiet painting and working on different pieces while others were running around splashing paint at each other and just acting like animals.

"Hey Peter!" a girl called out from the corner of the room, she had the kind of cool but still extremely intimidating demeanour.

"Oh, hey MJ!" Peter smiled walking in the direction towards her, Oliver followed him having zero ideas where else to sit.

They both sat down at the table beside MJ, she was actually sat on the table with her feet resting on a chair. "Oliver, this is my friend- Michelle." Peter smiled as Michelle put her hand out for a fistbump, "Nice to meet ya', Newbie. The name's Michelle but you can call me MJ." she smiled before returning back to her artwork.

Realizing it's Oliver's first day at a new school in the middle of a semester, he had quite a few eyes staring at him in the classroom. "Peter, should I introduce myself to the teacher, so she knows I'm here and the school doesn't call my dad?" he awkwardly asked scratching the back of his neck in embarrassment.

"Yeah, you totally should. I can come up with you with you, only if you'd like of course." Peter chuckled, Oliver, nodded in reply.

Peter took his back off his back and set it down beside MJ, he grabbed the other boy's wrist and brought him to the other side of the classroom which sat the teacher along with quite a few of the older students around a large wooden table.

"Uh, Mrs?" Peter quietly waited for her to finish her conversation with a student who was showing her random memes and vine from an Instagram thread.

"What can I do for you, Pete?" she replied with a smile, "Uh- so this is Oliver- um I never got his last name- but he's your newest student." Peter stuttered trying to form his sentence without any mess ups.

"Ooh, hello! Nice to meet you, I'm Leyland! Welcome to our school!" she smiled, "Has anyone shown you around the school yet? Right now would be a great time to do it." she added with a nod.

"Uh- Not yet, I can show him around now if you would like?" Peter offered to both the teacher and Oliver, "Well you've already shown them around the class, I guess- why not?" she replied with a smile.

Peter grabbed Oliver's hand and brought him out of the classroom and the big hallway called the tech hall. He proceeded to show Oliver everything somewhat necessary to him, the classrooms and teachers, the main office, the cafeteria and Peter's lunch table, Peter, Ned- a friend of peter's Oliver hadn't been introduced yet to -and Michelle's lockers, and finally the washroom- which Oliver wasn't going to use but he didn't tell him that.

Oliver was told that there was a gender-neutral washroom for him to use if the boys were too uncomfortable for him, in which it definitely was. "So Oliver, how are you like Midtown Tech?" Peter asked as the two were wandering the halls with Peter helping him find his wall throughout the halls.

"It seems pretty cool here, I've only really been to one class so- I am not exactly sure yet. Your friend MJ seemed really cool but super distant, so like you to a thing-" Oliver went to ask before Peter cut him off.

"Wait! MJ and I!? Ha ha ha- no." he blushed just the slightest bit although he didn't seem to happy of doing such.

"So what does your dad do for a living? You mentioned he had moved for some work type of reason?" Peter asked, "Oh well um- promise you won't tell anyone?" he nodded.

"Cross my heart." he smiled as he did such on his own chest with his pointer finger, "Okay well uh- my dad works for Stark Industries," Oliver whispered to him.

"Wait? No way- prove it!" Peter replied rather loudly, Oliver grabbed Peter's wrist and brought him into a weird space in the wall that was pressed in farther than the rest. Oliver pulled out his phone and swiped through of his receipts.

"I can't believe your father actually works for Tony Stark, dude-" Oliver covered Peter's mouth as another student walked by, the two of boys were squished together in the corner.

The other kid looked at the boys really weirdly as the whole ordeal occurred, "Peter, my new friend, this is serious- you need to be quiet. You can't tell anyone, promise me?" Oliver asked in whisper sticking his pinky finger out.

"Promise."
