Oliver and Peter came out of the bedroom to talk to Oliver's dads, "Any updates, guys?" Oliver asks sitting down on the couch.

"Just that they are being manufactured in New York by a company called BBE-100 inc." Tony replied swiping the information over to the boy's watch, "Wait, what was that company called again?" Bucky asked turning his metallic arm over to show his palm.

There were some words reading 'BBE-100 inc.' beside his thumb, "Hydra." Steve said quietly getting up from the couch.

"Why does this never end with them?" Steve asked looking at the hologram map coming out of Tony's watch, "I'm going to down to the lab, if you need anything, just come to find me." Tony sighed walking over to the elevator.

"Tony, before you go! Is alright if I head over to the precinct? They are having some computer troubles!" Tony nodded, "Just be back before 6:30, okay?" he replied as the elevator doors closed.

"Oliver, so May just texted me. She needs me back at the apartment, are you going to be alright if you go alone?" Peter asked with guilt in his voice.

"I'll be fine, Peter. Tell May that I say hi." Oliver smiled. Peter nodded and gave the other boy a hug, he quickly threw on his mask and webbed his way out.

"Hey Steve, can you drive me over to the precinct?" Oliver asked grabbing his backpack from the closet, "Sure, has your friend Jake had the chance of meeting Captain America yet?" Steve replied with a chuckle.

"He would probably faint if he saw you," Oliver paused, "I am so going to record this!" he chuckled.

Oliver and Steve got into the old Ford truck that Tony gave Steve for his birthday one year, the three sat in comfortable silence as they drove through streets of New York.

"You wanna know something cool about this truck?" Steve asked breaking the silence, "Bucky and I had this exact same model back in the day." Steve smiled tapping his fingers on the steering wheel to the music quietly playing in the background.

Steve's truck was pretty cool with some simple upgrades to the car like a better radio and sound system, Steve leaned in and grabbing the dial of the radio and turned it up a bit.

"What is this song called?" he asked smiling at the music, "It's called Stolen Dance by Milky Chance, it's one of my favourites," Oliver replied tapping along to the music as well.

"I want you, we can bring it on the floor. You've never danced like this before, we don't talk about it. Dancin' on do the boogie all night long, stoned in paradise." Oliver quietly sang as he bobbed his head along to the music, "Shouldn't talk about it." he sang as the song ended.

The drive to Brooklyn was about 40 minutes and Oliver fell zoned out, his head quietly rested against the window as the indie music quietly playing in the background.

"Why don't you just adopt me?" Oliver asked randomly out of the blue, "What do you mean?" Steve asked choking on his sip of coffee.

"You are more of a dad to me than Tony has ever been." Oliver replied, "You know if I could make that happen I ould but you and I are going to have to Tony more about that later. If I did adopt you, he'd kick us out of the base." Steve replied focusing on the road.

"Why would that matter, I have lived in that damn tower all my life, living in an actual house would be cool, you know," Oliver added with a yawn before closing his eyes and falling asleep for the rest of the drive.

"Oliver, sweetie," Steve said lightly shaking the boy's shoulder, Oliver's eyes slowly opened to see that they had pulled up to the precinct.

"Oh cool, that was fast." he smiled jumping out of the truck onto the pavement, "Probably because you slept the whole time." Steve chuckled as Oliver pulled out his phone and two visitor-badge from his backpack.

Ollie
Hey, Jake! I just got to the precinct.

Peralta
cool cool! Come on up!

Oliver and Steve walked up to the front desk showing their visitor-badges, "Hey Oliver, do you want to me to tell Detective Peralta that you're here?" Emily, the lady at the desk asked.

"No thank you, I already told him," Oliver said signalling to his phone in his hand.

"Okay, go on ahead," she replied unlocking the door for the two before bringing them into the elevator.

"So what did Jake need help with today?" Emily asked as the three waited in the elevator to reach to correct floor, "He said there were computer troubles, I think." Oliver chuckled.

"Oh, that! Yeah, Jake accidentally created a virus affecting everyone computers." she chuckled. "That sounds like Jake!" Oliver laughed as the elevator doors opened to the floor.

Everyone turned around when they heard Oliver's familiar voice, "Hey guys!" Oliver smiled waved at the group.

"Hey, how are you feeling, man?" Jake asked pulling the kid into a hug. "I slept for a week so I've got a lot of energy." Oliver chuckled, "Who's your friend?" Jake asked referencing to Steve.

"Steve Rogers, nice to finally meet you, Jake!" Steve smiled shaking Jake's hand, "Wait, Steve Rogers like Captain America?" Steve chuckled and nodding his head.

"Oh my god, Captain America knows who I am." Jake said as a smile spread across his face, "You forgot I live with the Avengers, didn't you?" Oliver laughed rolling his eyes.

"Yes, yes I did." Jake replied, "So can you fix this virus for me?" he chuckled.

"Of course I can, what am I twelve?" Oliver replied sitting down in front of Jake's computer and began to fix the virus.

Steve was wandering around the precinct talking to Amy and Jake, "Hey Dap?" Oliver called grabbing the soldier's attention.

Steve with Amy and Jake following behind him made their way over to Oliver who was struggling to reach a box on the top shelf.

"Can you get that blue box for me? I am too short!" Oliver pouted jokingly pointing at the box, "Sure, what is in it?" Steve asked grabbing the unbelievably heavily box and placing it down on Jake's desks.

"Just some spare parts," Oliver replied opening the box and stirring through the materials, "Can you hand me that Phillips head screwdriver?" Oliver asked with an open hand.

Jake started to look at the pile of screwdrivers on the desk before Amy grabbed the correct one out of the pile and handed it to Oliver.

"So this is going to be a while. Jake, can you take Cap to the pizza place around the corner?" Oliver asked handing him a 20 dollar bill each with a smile, Steve tried to give Oliver the money back but the boy would not let him.

"Steve, you bought lunch last time, let me pay. Can you pick me up a piece of cheese pizza, please?" Oliver asked as he sat down on the floor and began to work on the computer.

Jake and Steve sat down in the pizza with three slices of pizza, two for the men and the other for Oliver. "How do you meet Oliver?" Steve askedJake, who chuckled in reply.

"That's a funny story actually, about a year ago the NYPD tried to arrest the kid." Jake replied, "I'm sorry, what?" Steve replied almost choking on his pizza. "Yeah so, he was working on one of those high-tech builds they do," Jake added.

The men talked for what felt like hours, Steve saw the time on his watch. "We should probably head back to the precinct now," Steve said throwing his jacket on and walking out of the pizzeria with Jake.
