"Hello! How is the nine-nine?" Tony Stark asked picking up the phone, "It was good until we found some of my watches." Oliver replied.

He and Steve hugged their friends and got into the truck. Oliver put his dad on speaker, "Hey, Tony. We may have a bigger problem on our hands with these watches." Steve said as Oliver zoned out listening to the quiet indie music.

"Yes, I know. They are Oliver's- Wait, what do you mean?"

"Well, they have actual bombs inside them!"

"I'm sorry, what?"

"Three of them were hidden in the precinct and detonated," Oliver said quickly under his breath.
"I'm sorry, what?!"

"We found the watches because they were snuck into the nine-nine and went off, Tony. And before you ask, yes, Oliver is fine."

"Was he near one?"

"Yes, there was hidden in a glass cup beside him in the kitchen but Detective Peralta protected him."

"How can I repay him?"

"Oh, you should give him a Die Hard themed gift-basket!" Oliver placed the phone back up to his ear.

"Okay, we'll talk about this more when you guys get home."

"Bye, Tony."

"Today was eventful, wasn't it?" Steve chuckled as Oliver yawned laying his head on the window like before. "Yeah, it was." Oliver chuckled, "Steve, I'm scared."

"It is okay, I am too, pal," Steve replied placing his hand over the top of Oliver's in a comforting manner. "Need to talk about it because you aren't alone in this."

"It's just this is my fault- if I never built the watch or the bomb, none of this would have ever happened. I wouldn't have found out about Peter being Spider-man, I would've never got shot, I would've never- It's just, I shouldn't have ever made those fucking blueprints." Oliver paused.

" As a result of me, Peter ran away, you guys got hurt trying to take down the Vulture, I got shot, was in a medically induced coma, and caused three bombs to go off in Brooklyn because of my stupidity. Da, what have I done." Oliver sighed wiping away the tears from his eyes.

"Oliver, this is not your fault. As if you knew any of that was going to happen, it's okay. It is going to get better, I promise." Steve replied.

"How would a little ice cream do?" Steve asked as he turned to corner to show an ice cream with little pink roof tiles and a large glass window that read "Double Scoop" in big blue lettering.

Oliver smiled as the two entered the little ice cream shop with a small bell ringing once they opened the door. Inside the shop stood Scott Lang and Cassie, Ant-man's daughter.

"Hi, Cassie!" Oliver smiled going up to the young girl, "Oh, hi Ollie!" Cassie smiled pulling the boy into a hug.

"How is he holding up?" Scott asked Steve after he pulled him away from the two kids.

"I heard about it on the news, that must have been scary, especially for a kid." he added with a sigh, "He had a minor break down on the car over here." Steve looked over at the two kids.

Oliver was pointing at the different types of ice cream with Cassie, both had smiles from ear to ear.

"I'm worried for him, it never seems to end. First, his projects being stolen, then being shot and put into a medically induced coma for a week and now this. I just want him to be a kid for just a little longer." Steve replied.

"I know how you feel, Cap. I'm absolutely terrified of Cassie getting hurt because of my job." Scott replied.

"Hey, Steve?" Oliver asked grabbing the man attention, "Is everything okay?" the boy asked when he noticed Steve wipe away a quick couple of tears.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Go ahead and in ordering your ice cream," he replied with a smile handing the boy a twenty dollar bill.

"What can I get for you two?" the cashier asked smiling at the two youth, "What do you want Cassie?" Oliver asked the girl.

"Can I have a cone with two scoops of mint chocolate, please?" the cashier nodded, "And for yourself?"

"Double scoop of cookie dough on a cone, please?" Oliver replied, "Will that be all?" Oliver nodded in response.

"Okay, that will be 12.50, please." Oliver handed the cashier a twenty dollar bill before getting the change back. Since Oliver didn't have any pockets, he gave a couple dollars in change to Cassie.

"This ice cream is so good!" Cassie smiled as she licked away at her ice cream with a wide smile, "Cassie! You are getting it all over your face, kid." Oliver smiled handing the girl a napkin.

"I'm going to bring inside the get her cleaned up, see you in a bit," Oliver said giving Steve a hug and Scott a fist bump.

"How do you get ice cream on your forehead?" Oliver laughed with the girl as they washed their faces with a paper towel.

"I don't know!" Cassie replied tossing away the paper towel before she grabbed Oliver's hand and walked with him outside the table where the two superheroes were sat.

"Hi, Dad! Hi Mr. America!" Cassie smiled at the two while sitting back down at the table with Oliver, Cassie noticed the gash on Oliver's face and yelped in surprise.

"What is wrong, sweetie?" Scott asked the girl, "What happened to Ollie's face? It's got a giant cut on it!" Steve chuckled lightly at the girl's reaction.

"Oliver was in an accident and got a little hurt but his friend protected him from getting any more hurt." Steve smiled lightly placed his hand on Oliver's shoulder and gave the boy a look of reassurance, "Oh? Does it still hurt?" Cassie asked with wide eyes.

"A little bit, I've had worse." Oliver chuckled under his breath, "Can you take Cassie to the park next down the street?" Scott asked Oliver with a smile.

"Sure, we will be at the play structure," Oliver replied quickly giving Steve and Scott hugs. "Do you want to go the park, Cassie?" she nodded vigorously before grabbing Oliver's hand a skipped in the direction of the park together.

"Okay, what are the plans?" Scott asked as the other hero was making sure no one was else was in sight.
