So so so sorry I couldn't update today. Family problems. I didn't have any time. :/

Anyway, here's your update!

Freshmen year passed quickly. It pretty much consisted of groggily waking up to go to classes, which, for the record, were boring as hell. Except for English. I actually got to write in English. Mr. Villareal taught me all of the stuff that I know now; he's pretty much the reason I'm writing this book.

Anyway, the college experience involved the aforementioned going to classes, along with hanging out with Dean and Jo. We never attended any parties, which I thought was weird, but Dean didn't seem to ever want to be with anyone except for Jo and me.

Before I knew it, Thanksgiving was right around the corner. Which meant that Christmas was soon, too. Ah, Christmas. The best time to wear a striped sweater.

Nope, I changed my mind. The best time to wear a striped sweater is all the time.

"Mm, I love you," Dean whispered into my mouth between kisses.

"I know. But I love you more," I said.

"No chick flick moments," he told me before sitting up and letting me rest on his shoulder. I let my fingers spin circles on his chest and he ran his fingers through my hair.

"I don't want you to go home for a week," Dean said about Thanksgiving. I sighed. Dean couldn't really go home, considering he kicked himself out and hadn't seen his family since.

"I know, but it's not like I'm leaving forever." Dean stayed silent. Somehow, we ended up on his bed. I got on top of him and slid his shirt off before taking off mine, then realizing that I was too tired to do anything more. He looked the same way, so I just kissed him a few more times and laid down next to him. We both started to get cold but didn't bother to put out shirts back on. Dean pulled the sheets up and we both fell asleep. Exhausted from classes, I guess.

I woke up to my phone ringing. I looked at the caller ID, surprised to see Anna.

"Hello?" I answered. My voice was raspy from sleep. I talked quietly and eventually made my way into the living room of the dorm so I didn't wake Dean up. I silently greeted Benny.

"Hey, Cassie! Did I wake you up? You sound tired. Do you want me to call back?" Anna talked quickly. She was excited.

"No," I started. "I'm already up. Are you just calling me for fun?" I smiled into the phone.

"Yes and no. I wanted to ask you if you wanted to bring anyone home for Thanksgiving. Gabe decided to buy the biggest turkey in the grocery store. May as well not put it to waste."

I paused for a moment, a smile growing on my face. Dean. Of course I wanted to bring Dean.

"I, uh. There is one person..."

"IS HE CUTE?!" Anna practically shouted into the phone. I left a note for Dean saying I was in the hallway talking on the phone just in case he woke up.

"Anna, calm yourself. Yes, sure, he's cute. But he's mine," I said smirking. And that's how I came out to Anna.

"Oh, okay," she said. "So tell me about him." She took that better than I'd expected. Thank God for Anna.

I could tell she was just making conversation. But I told her all about Dean.

"His name is Dean and we met on the plane here. He's super sweet, and he has these really bright green eyes and practically glow in the dark..." I aimlessly talked about Dean, telling her about everything, and she asked questions, too. She seemed so interested. We talked for about an hour.

"Well, I'd better be off. It's getting late and I have work tomorrow. I love you, Cassie. I can't wait to see you!"

"I love you, too. Hey, do you mind putting Gabe on the phone?"

"Of course," she replied, calling for him.

"CASSIE!" I heard distantly on the other line. I couldn't help but laugh.

So I told Gabe all about Dean, too. And he told me about his life and his friends and funny stories. That also lasted about an hour.

We said our "see you later's" and hung up.

I walked inside, expecting to see Dean awake and making dinner or something, but he wasn't there. I wasn't very tired and I knew I wouldn't be able to fall asleep, so I trotted to the kitchen where I made a Cup o' Noodles and then watched the news, which was borderline boring me to death.

When I finished the noodles, I tiptoed into Dean's room and carefully flopped on his bed. Dean snuggled up against me but didn't wake up. I buried my forehead against his neck and sighed, not being able to wait until I could tell him that he could tag along home with me.

Dean held on to me tighter and I was overheating, but he wouldn't budge so I gave up and let the sweat overtake me.

"I love you."
