A week later
"Auntie can I have some." Ava said referring to the ice cream I was eating. I scooped some up in my spoon and fed it to her. We were both currently laying in my bed watching the old classic movies. Like the incredibles and lion king. She actually cried during lion king, it was cute.
"Ava what you wanna do today?" I asked and she looked around and shrugged. I sighed because I was bored and she was so into these movies and my Ice cream, I had the whole day with her today. And I wanna get out and do something.
"You wanna get out nails done?" I asked and she nodded. "Then get food and ice cream?" I asked and she nodded again happily. "Okay put your shoes on baby." I said and she climbed off the bed and put her shoes on and I changed into some shorts a crop top and sandals since it was so hot today. Ava and I were kind of matching but we didn't care. We got into the car and sia chandlers came on and we sung our hearts out to that a what ever song came next until we got to the nail salon. We got inside and I told her to go pick out a color. While she was doing that I saw a familiar face. Once I looked closer, I recognized it was jays sister, Annie. They guided my and Ava over to the seat right next to her. Once we sat down I sat Ava on my lap and one person did my toes while the other did Ava's hands
"Annie?" I said hoping that was her name she turned towards me and once she recognized me she smiled
"Beyoncé isn't it?" She asked and I nodded and smiled. "Hey girl how you been?" She asked
"Good what about you and Mina?" I asked and she smiled harder
"She's amazing and so am I, she's growing more and more everyday it's such a beautiful thing to watch and experience." She said and I nodded
"That's good for you, what about jay?" I asked and she rolled her eyes
"He's been good just loving having a niece. He also constantly talks about you." She said and I blushed
"Really?" I asked and she nodded. The painters switched to my hands and her toes while we continued talking
"Yeah it seems like he really likes you. Who is this cutie." She said referring to Ava and I smiled
"It's my niece Ava, Ava say hi to Ms.Annie." I said and Ava turned her head towards her and cutely said Joan's she gushed
"She's so cute." She said and I said thank you. "You know jay is somewhere around here, we were supposed to be havin a brother sister plus Mina day but he said he didn't want to be in here and Mina shouldn't be inhaling this stuff and took her to go somewhere. But when We're done you should tag along with us it'll be fun. I'll watch the girls while you guys talk or what ever." She said and I smiled
But politely declined I didn't want to intrude
"I don't want to intrude on yalls day. We'll be fine." I said and she shook her head
"Trust me girl you aren't intruding, just come with us he would want you there too." She said and I contemplated on it. I mean we've been talking over the phone since our first date and texting and what not but I don't want to over step his boundaries.
"Okay if he says it's okay too then we'll come." And she nodded her head. We kept up small talk until we finished getting them done and dry. She called jay and when he answered she said
"Okay jay I'm done and I have a surprise here waiting for you." She said and I chuckled after she hung up the phone. Ava fell asleep in my arms so I just rocked her back and forth as we waited for jay to come back. 5 minutes barely passed when he parked and we met him and Mina outside. When he saw me a smirked and looked me over and licked his lips then he saw the baby in my hands. Then handed Mina to Annie
