Kyre's POV
After my dad got off the phone I watched him walk to the car and slide in the passengers seat. He put his seat belt on and I did the same then checked my mirrors.
"Alright tell me where to go." I said before I pulled off cause I didn't want to go the wrong way
"Alright, but I gotta pick up something real quick so you gone drive there first." He said and I nodded then he told me where to go and I pulled out then started driving.
It took about 15 minutes to get to the place that he needed to go and when we got there he pulled his phone out and called somebody.
"Wassup...mmhm....yeah...yeah.... that's cool... we here... Alright here we come." He said then hung up the phone.
"Alright y'all come on." He said and I got out the car then tossed the keys to my dad. Uncle B jogged ahead of us and said he had to go to the bathroom.
I followed my dad through the building then he stopped outside of a room and I stopped right with him. He pulled his phone out and started texting
"Go in there while I take this phone call." He said and I said alright.
I twisted th knob on the the door then opened it, the room looked pitch black, I walked in fully then the lights switched on and a crowd of people were standing there yelling
"SURPRISE!!!" They yelled and I looked around the room seeing people that love me and support me. I didn't know what to do I felt so loved and overwhelmed
I ran my hand down my face and smiled. I felt my eyes water but I didn't want to cry in front of them. But this was so big to me, this was more than a surprise party. People who care about me actually took the time to put this together.
I walked further in hugging everybody, dapping everybody up, and saying thank you. I was so appreciative of this. I saw all my family on jay's side, beys side, and even grandma Vs side.
This was so fulfilling
I even saw my baby Ryan and her parents. I was going to introduce her to my grandmas and aunties after I said thank you on the mic.
I went on the stage where the dj was and he gave me the mic
"Excuse me, Hey everybody!" I said getting every ones attention
"Hey babyyyy!" Grandma V yelled out and I laughed
"Hey grandma... I just want to thank everybody for coming out and surprising me. This really means so much to me knowing that I have so much family that I can come to for anything now and that'll come through for me. Especially because before I met you all it was just me and my birth mother, and she was barely there. Then in a matter of time I went to having this big family all because of my mom and dad. The only person I'm missing today is my mom. And right after this is over imma be right next to her ending the night off right.I love and appreciate them sooo much , they'll never know how much I really do. So I want to thank you all again, I love y'all! Let's turn upppp!!!" I yelled in the mic while everybody screamed and cheered. Then my dad came on the stage and took the mic from me.
"Wait wait wait.. before we officially turn up, I have a surprise for you son," he said and I got excited and looked at him waiting for him to say something but he didn't.
He just looked at the door making me turn my attention to it, my eyes got wide and my jaw hung open
"Mom?" I whispered and she nodded and held her arms wide open with the warmest smile. I ran full speed to her and ran into her arms almost knocking her down then hugging her. She hugged me so tight.
