Chapter 17: Legends

"Come on, let's go join Aqua."

We headed down the stairs to join Aqua and had a great time. We played games, and told stories about ourselves. When everyone came back and told about how fantastic Private Terra played, the night continued.

As we discussed what things had happened so far, I realized that I still had my other job. What would Hopper be thinking right now? So when the time was right and Ventus and Georgie had gone upstairs, I decided to tell everyone.

"Hey, uh guys?"

They all looked to me.

"I just remembered that I have another job. That's why I met Private Terra in the first place. Should I go back and explain?"

"Well, I think that's fine." Terra said. "If you get fired, you can help us."

That didn't exactly help me feel any better. I got money for this. But, if they thought it was right, it must be fine.

So after we took Georgie back home, (which was really emotional, I must say) I went to the Phoenix, to see Hopper glaring. 

"Where have you been?" His tone wasn't friendly.

"Uh... you see..." I started.

"Get to the point." His voice raised a little.

"Well, remember that shady house inspection thing?"

"Yeah."

"Well, it seems like it was more than just a shady house."

So I explained my entire thing. How I met Private Terra, and how I beat up the clown.

So what happened? Well, he almost fired me, but ultimately, I was able to take some time off. And where do I spend that time? With Private Terra, of course! When I entered the castle, everyone cheered when they heard the news. 

But soon later, all that was hushed to a silence when Private Terra pointed outside. "Hey, guys, look at this!" He called.

What I saw, I couldn't even believe. There was a Red Ferrari Testarossa parked outside.

What even shocked me more is that Eraqus knew him. I knew too, I just never actually believed it.

There was a legend of Kavinsky the Deadcruiser, who crashed that very car and died, and came back later to search for his love. Apparently that was him.

As Eraqus told the story, Private Terra looked really surprised. "But how is that possible?" He asked Eraqus.

"There's only one way to find out."

And to my great surprise, Eraqus left the building to talk to Kavinsky.
