Chapter 10: Car Chase (Arp Worship)

It was the first car chase of my life.

I couldn't believe it. We had just started our journey, and we were already being chased.

Luckily, we were all super fast, and were able to outrun Issacs and his men.

While we were running, Erik and I started planning on what to do. We figured that we would split up and let Erik go to the train station so he could figure out more. I thought it was pretty good, but when Hanna heard the idea, she flipped out.

"Father, I can't lose you." She protested.

"You won't." Erik replied. "Meet me at the train station in 45 minutes. Hanna, be safe."

And with that, he left, and the rest of us went to buy weapons. Why? Because we needed them to fight against Marissa and Isaacs. If we wanted to find Ventus, we had to have something to protect ourselves.

While we were searching, I saw a sign on a building that said,

HIP HOP CONTEST
WINNER GETS $1000!

"Woah, $1000? That could really help us." I observed.

So we all walked into the building hoping to get money. And what did we find?

We found Snoop Dogg rap battling against Lil Pump!

I couldn't believe it. I'd never seen either of them, and it was amazing. I never liked Lil Pump, but Snoop Dogg was always amazing. I was marveled to finally see him.

Of course, we had blown our chance for money, but that all changed when we heard a voice call out,

"Hey, you 4."

We turned around to see the one and only Snoop D.O. Double G!

"What you come in here fo?" He asked.

"Well, you won, right?" Private Terra reminded.

"Yeah, but you just got in. What you need the dough fo?"

Was this really happening? Was it really my chance to talk to Snoop Dogg? It obviously was, because I had to explain the whole thing to him, and he listened with interest.

When I was done, we all looked at Snoop curiously, like he wanted to say something. Finally, he spoke.

"Aight. How bout we split it 50/50? I'll give you $500, and I'll keep $500. I've got enough money anyways."

Wow. That was really generous. And I was glad that Snoop did that for us, because we were all able to get our weapons very quickly, and we dashed to the train station.

The second we got there, Hanna frantically started searching for her father. And when we couldn't find her, Terra tried to calm her down.

"He's probably late." He said.

"No! You don't understand!" She protested.

"He's never like this! He's never late. He might be... Ded."

She started crying, and Aqua comforted her, which still didn't help.

The train was leaving, and we had to get on. So we did, but we had a huge surprise when we got off.

Issacs was waiting for us, and his men instantly surrounded us.

Before we could pull out our weapons, they grabbed them and handcuffed us.

Apparently since we were with Erik, they had to take us too. And that was how we got captured by Issacs.
