Dear Nellie,
The holiday break just finished. School started again yesterday. I know I haven't really shown an interest in boys before, but I noticed the new guy today. His name is Liam, Liam Hayford.
He's from what used to be Chicago. He's living with his aunt and uncle, he's an orphan, Nellie.
I haven't even talked to him... but I feel like there's a connection between us, I don't even know how.
Nellie, please, help me. I can't fall in love with anyone, ever. And I think I may be falling for him...

I know I never told you, but I look up to you. I'm afraid that I'll be... inspired by your actions.
