I woke up at eight and looked at my calendar. It was Wednesday and I had to start packing. I ran my hands through my hair and lifted myself off of my bed. I grabbed the clothes I wanted and went to the bathroom. I lathered myself up in the Phoenix Axe body wash I use. I realized I was loosing weight again after my recent doctors visit. I guess I would have to pack my weight pills to manage it. I rinsed off and lathered my hair up with the Phoenix Axe shampoo and rinsed it after it was soapy enough. I turned the water off and dried off. I placed the bottles on the floor next to the sink so they could be packed. I splashed water on my face and scrubbed in my face wash. I noticed too that I was paler than usual, probably from the heat and not drinking enough water. I rinsed my face and sat the bottle with my shower stuff. I than grabbed my toothbrush and paste. I rinsed my mouth and placed them on the floor.
I cleaned the bathroom up after using it and dressed in a light blue, short sleeve shirt with a red and black plaid button up shirt. I buttoned up my shorts, and grabbed my pajamas and toiletries. I threw my pajamas on my bed and the other stuff on my desk. I stuffed my wallet in my pocket and slipped a red bracelet on my wrist that my friend gave me. I was getting my hair cut in an hour and I didn't want to be late. My cousin usually does it in her hair salon at her house and she said she would do it. I tied up my shoes and went to the kitchen to eat my waffles and wait for my mom. She came down around eight-thirty and we drove over to my cousins house. She took me to the back where her salon was and sat me in the chair.
"How short are we going for?" she asked. I pulled out my phone and showed her the picture.
"Wow, that's short." she said surprised on how short I was going for. "You want blonde highlights, too?" she asked.
"Yeah." I said nodding my head.
"Let's cut it first and than put in the blonde." she said and I nodded. She sprayed water on my hair and combed it. She pulled part of it up and started cutting in layers. The bottom, than the middle, and layer after layer. She parted it the way it was on the picture, straightened, and combed it out. She pulled out enough tin foil and wrapped my hair in in with the highlight dye. As we waited, we talked about whatever we could think of and what the family had been up to. Soon the time was up to take the foil off and wash out the extra dye. She than combed it through and styled it. I looked in the mirror and told her I loved it. I thanked her and we left to go back home. I went to the kitchen to eat lunch and my mom and I went to the store to get stuff for my dad. We got back home to eat dinner and I went up to my room to pack.
I packed the seven outfits of clothes, the toiletries, and my weight pills I would need for the week and placed my bag next to my desk. I went back downstairs and turned the TV on to the channel I needed to watch Designated Survivor and after it ended, I went to bed.
