I woke up to the sound of Jenny's alarm clock and mine. She slept in her bed as I slept on the bean bags. She turned on her lamp and stretched her arms. She dangled her legs over the bed side and walked over to her windows. She opened all of the curtains and windows to let the crispy, early morning air come in. Yes, it was cold, but I liked it. She left the room to go to the bathroom so I could get up. I sat up in the bean bag and lifted myself to my feet. I folded the blanket I was sleeping with and laid it back on her bed. I went over to my bag and grabbed the outfit for the day. I put on a green shirt, shorts, and my shoes. I stuffed my wallet in my pocket and did the same with my phone. I combed my hair and zipped up my bag. I looked in the mirror of Jenny's dresser and liked my outfit. Jenny came back in wearing a strapless, ocean blue dress and convers of the same color. She clipped on a necklace and a small bracelet. She grabbed her bag and her sunglasses as I made my way towards the door. She looked at herself in the mirror and turned to me. She made her way over and grabbed my arm.

"You ready?" she asked.

"Yeah." I said. She looked at me.

"Are you wearing your binder?" she asked.

"Yeah." I said. She nodded.

"Good." she said. We made our way downstairs to have an aroma meet us at the middle step. We got to the kitchen and her parents were making breakfast burritos, they were all the same so it didn't matter who got what. We loaded up the car and buckled ourselves in. The car engine started and were pulling out of the driveway. I looked over at Jenny who gave me a reassuring smile and grabbed my hand.

"The burritos are in my lunch pail if you girls want any." her mom said. Jenny grabbed the bag and took out two. She handed me one and kept the other. We ate them and threw the wrappers into a bag. I leaned my head on the window and watched the lights of the town fly by as we drove down the street. I could hear the soft talking of Jenny's parents and the music through her earbuds. I was trying to fall back asleep, but I'm one of those people where once I'm up, I'm up for the rest of the day. I shrugged my shoulders and took out my phone and earbuds. I listened to my music as we drove on down the road. I think I fell asleep because the next thing I knew, I felt someone shaking me. I bolted up and turned to Jenny who pointed to her ears.

"What? What's wrong?" I asked taking my earbud out.

"Look at the sunrise." she said pointing out the window. I looked and they sky was all sorts of colors. Orange, yellow, and pink. It was mainly an orange color, but it was pretty. I looked at my phone to see it was six-thirty.

"Are we almost there?" Jenny asked.

"Almost." her mom said.

"Where are we gonna be staying?" she asked.

"At grandmas house." her dad said. A smile grew on her face as she looked back at the sky. I too smiled at my happiness of being away from PA. I stayed awake this time to see old buildings and run down farms pass by. We pulled onto a dirt road and up to a house that looked like Forest Gump's.

"We're here!!!" Jenny shouted jumping out of the car. I got out to follow her up to the house before she turned around to let her parents go in first. We walked into the house and Jenny gave me a tour. The living room was large. To the left was a white couch with pillows. A stand came next with three candles. Another white couch with pillows was next to the stand making a half circle. To the right was a brown couch that wasn't positioned at all, it faced the two other couches perfectly. In the middle was a white carpet with a small coffee table holding a bowl of fruit and the Bible.

The kitchen was large too. The fridge was on the left with the counter and cabinets. The stove came next, with more counter and cabinets. Around a small corner was a fire place into the wall with a flat screen TV. A wedding picture of her Grandma and Grandpa hung on the wall next to the TV. The kitchen table came next which was a black wooden table with blue chairs. In the middle was an island with the sink. She lead me upstairs.
