Chapter11: Cookies

          *Ryker's POV*
As I walk away from Selene to see what Emmy needs, I can't help but smile. Selene really is an angel, inside and out. She is always smiling, man her smile lights up the entire room, and she so small and fragile, and she always has this little glow around her. Man I sound like a girl. "Ryker!,""Yeah little girl what do you need?""I'm not little!!!!,"yells Emmy I can't help hut chuckle."Okay so what do you need?""Can I have a cookie and some chocolate milk??""I don't think we have anymore cookies.""Awwww otay, will you play with me???""Sure."

*****Selene POV****
I finally pull myself of my Ryker induced trance and realize that I am tired and quite thirsty. I grab the jug of milk from the refrigerator and glass from the cabinet,and pour me some. After I've finished the glass I start heading upstairs to my room which is just past Emmy's room when I notice that Ryker has her up above his head spinning her around and making helicopter noises while Emmy squeals and laughs. I open the door and lean against the frame and watch Ryker and Emmy play helicopter for a bit before Emmy realizes I am there. "Ryker!!!! Selene!!!! Door! Look!!,"yells Emmy as he puts her down. He looks over at me and smiles"Hey will be quite if you're going to bed?,"" You're fine, really." It's not fine but it's so cute I can't bear to tell him I was going to bed, Emmy loves playing with Ryker. "Selene, do we have any cookies?"asked Emmy as she pulls at the corner of my shirt."No I don't think we do sweety,"I reply,"but we can make some!" This, of course, puts a gigantic grin on her cute little face"Yay we make cookies,"hollers a delighted Emmy. " Yes we make cookies,come on." I then realize I didn't ask Ryker if she could have cookies,"Is it okay if she has cookies,I should have asked before I said that sorry." He laughs it's fine,"She hasn't had any sweets today." "Okay good, you can help.""What? No! I am a dude we don't bake,"Ryker replies folding his arms like a child. It's almost comical how childish he looks crossed arms and a puffed out chest, I can't help but laugh.

****Ryker's POV****
After I refuse to make cookies, Selene busts out in a full blown laugh, an actual laugh! I've never heard her make a single noise and now she's laughing. Man I love this girl.... wait what live what no.... maybe? Who am I kidding, I definitely have a major crush.... yay one ticket to the friend zone please, she'll never like me. Wait what is she saying?"Wait sorry what did you say?" " I said boys do bake and honestly it's not as girly as you think."

Anytime Selene is "talking" she is actually writing other than when she is alone with Emmy at night then she actually talks. That laugh was the first noise Ryker has EVER heard from her cause I know it's a bit confusing so I wanted to clear that up. Anyways I love you guys thanks for all the prayers I'm doing a lot better I'm still sad sometimes but honestly I'm not depressed or anything. ❤️💜💙🧡💛💚🖤
