Chapter 16: part 3

    ***Rykers pov***
       "All right, all right, fine I'll answer the questions stop giving me puppy eyes!" As soon as I say it she stops giving me puppy eyes and gives me a smile, " All right your first question is..... what is your favorite animal. That's easy it's a dog, a German Shepherd to be exact. Now what about you?" I hand her back her phone so she can answer. After a second she gives me back the phone and I see that her favorite animal is a dolphin, just like Emmy.

                *** Ten minutes later***
"All right question 20.." "Hi! Here's your order can I get y'all anything else," the waitress asks. I look over at Selene and she shakes her head no. "No we're fine," I say as I wave her off.
"All right! Let's eat I'll answer your question later. Here's your phone." She shakes her head and digs in to her food. One I look down I notice that there a strawberry on the waffles so I do what anyone would do. I picked it up and flicked it at Selene, unfortunately I missed and it landed in her drink making it splash on her a little. She picks up a napkin and dabs it off all while I laugh. I mean come on it was funny! Plus her glare isn't even scary! She looks more like an angry bunny. After I quit laughing I start eating as well but after a few minutes something wet I feel something hit my face and realize that she used a spoon to throw a piece of sausage at me. No way is she getting away with that. I pick up my spoon and get some egg on it, then I launch it at her. She glares at me goes to grab some her spoon but I throw my hands up, " I surrender. No need to attack." She rolls her eyes and reaches for the waffles. "I'm full. I don't really want any waffle, just eat what you want," I quickly say before she can try to give me any.  She eats one of the waffles before putting the rest back down on the table. " You ready to go?" She shakes her head no and pouts over to the bathroom," oh okay go. I'll wait here for you." She gets up smiling and heads over to the bathroom still wiping her face to see if there's any egg. This day has been loads of fun so far and it's going to get better. As I lean back in the booth one if the waitresses  comes up,"Hey. I'm Anna. I was just wondering if I could get your number?" After she finishes saying that she starts playing with her hair and trying to "discreetly" show me assets. Rolling my eyes I respond," No. I like someone already." " Who?! The girl you came in here with? I hope not I mean she can't even order for herself." " Yes the girl I came in her with and she doesn't have to order for herself! I'll order for her! So about you go do your job Ot go try to flirt with someone who has low standards? As you can see mine are too high." Looking up I see Selene. Standing up and pushing past whatever her name is. I walk over to Selene and throw my arm around her shoulders." You ready to go Selene?" We quickly pay and get out of there. Once we're in the car I realize that I don't know how long Selene was standing there what If she heard me  admit I like her?! "Hey Selene how long we're you standing there? How much of that did you hear?" She grabs out her phone and types out that when she came out I was asking the girl to go flirt with someone else. Thank god! I thought for sure she heard me!

Hey so its been brought to my attention that I have a lot of authors notes on this story and I really shouldn't so I'm going to go through and delete most of them. I'm also going to stop writing them all the time I just want to let everyone know that if I don't upload then it just means I'm super busy but I will not give up on the story without letting everyone know!
