'Hu organized this race?'

Big Shaq swallowed his tacos before turning to face me. He grinned.

"Guess"

I rolled my eyes. 'Ice?'

Ice had been organizing top races before but for i-forgot reasons, he stopped. He's Primo's twin and twins always have differences and alike. Primo's the villain, Ice is the angel. 

"No"

'Say it already'

He chuckled. "I don't know but I had it checked. It's..." he shakes his hands "...okay, I think?"

'What u mean okay? Okay, good? Okay, bad? Okay, shit?'

"Okay good, kid"

Sometimes, its hard having a conversation with this guy. Gawd.

'So how much the $$$'

"Half a million"

I held my breath. 'No?!'

Big Shaq nod his head.  "Yup, interested now?"

'hell yeah'

"500 thousand?!" Natapon ko iniinom kong juice.

Gabby grinned. "Ang laki di ba? Moneeeeeey is life"

Danny high fived his face. "Sira ulo ka. Baka naman buwis buhay yan?"

"I dunno. I just asked about the prize money"

Sungalngalin ko kaya to. "Saan ba?"

"Ahh hindi ko din... alam"  Gabby answered and I reach for his throat. 

"Wala kang kwenta"

Don laughed. "So anong alam mo lang sa race na 'to? The prize lang?"

Gabby grinned. He can't fucking answer because I'm trapping his airways.

I released him when he's turning purple. "Your car's all good right?"

I'll be using his car for this race and I haven't been to races. I know I drive faster tho and I'm the best driver among the mammals here. Self-proclaimed? Damn right.

"Of course, Lukey baby"

I hit his balls "don't baby me. Sinali-sali mo ako sa race na to na hindi ko man lang alam kung safe, hype ka. Pag ako namatay dito, araw araw kitang dadalawin"

Gabby made a face. "What the hell man. Of course its safe"

"Asan pruweba mo ha?" tanong ni Danny.

"Ang papraning niyo kasi eh. Saglit! Sasabihan naman daw ako about further details"

I smacked his forehead. "Sabihan mo ako ah. Mamaya, libing ko na pala yang race na yan"

Gabby grinned "whyyy? scared?"

I punched his balls "don't taunt me"

"Please step out if you're not interested in class"

We all looked at the teacher. Danny scoffed at him and went out. We followed him.

I hugged my car when Big Shaq pulled the black cover. Naayos na 'yong damage from my last race nang dahil sa Nic na 'yun. I hate that guy.

"She's ready to race"

I beamed. 

"There are improvements in there"

I gave him a questioning look.

"Just all about the engine and new cameras"

I nod. 'I think Luke's joining the race'

Big Shaq frowned. "Really? He race too? What's up with people around you joining illegal things"

I shrugged.

"I'll have him investigated then"

'thank you. I worry bout him, you know'

He gimme a teasing look "And why is that? You don't want his ass to get hurt?"

I paused. This is dirty race. Other racers don't care about people's safety and shit. They're just after the money and that's it. Just knowing the prize money, I'm sure this ain't just any race.

'shut up. I just don't want him to know i do races'

Deep within me, of course I hate to see him hurt.

"Oh yeah. We need to do something about that. Don't worry, I got you covered" he winked.

"Welcome home, fam!" Luke shouted looking at the door. 

Galaxy runs towards me instead of Luke who's arms are wide open. I smirked.

"Damn you" he whispered

"I missed you, Centuwee"

I smiled and kissed her cheeks. 

"What about me, Gal?" Luke asked and snatched her away from me. 

Gal giggled and kissed Luke.

"So I see ink, Luke" 

My eyes grew wide. Hindi naman siguro kami pagagalitan?

"Cool di ba?" Luke showed clearer view of his tattoo.

Uncle Jin rolled his eyes. "Hindi mo bagay"

"Mukha mo!"

I crumpled my face. Minsan talaga walang galang 'tong isang to.

"Mukha mo din! Mukha kang bisugo!"

I sighed. And minsan din, Uncle Jin's acting like a child.

But I missed them. Haven't seen them for three days now. I think okay naman ang deal nila because they're all smiles and laughs.

I stood up so I can give them a hug. 

"I miss you, dear" said aunty Jenna. Uncle Jin joins us and Ford came closer wagging his tail.

"We got you something, kids" Uncle Jin handed me a shopping bag. Aunty Jenna gave Luke his.

I opened mine and... I saw shoes and wristwatch. Luke got the same.

And yup, parehas din ng design. I, of course, got the for-females watch.

I thanked them and we eat dinner. They ask about school and how Luke survived without them. I laughed. I've been smiling lately, its craaaazy.

Tonight, Luke and Galaxy sleep in my room and I can't even say no. Ford's there too.
