the room was badly lit, too cold, and creaking noises were near constant yet none of that mattered to the two students intertwined on the too-small futon. their breaths were in sync, as were their hearts. the foreigner placed a kiss on the crown of his boyfriend's head as his finger wrote chinese lettering on the smooth skin of jungwoo's back. the elder of the two made small pleased noises close to a mewl and tightened his hold on yukhei's waist.

"snoopy," yukhei mumbled against jungwoo's light brown hair, "you need to finish editing."

jungwoo whined and pouted his lips, staring up at his boyfriend with puppy eyes, "but hei~! i have no energy to do anything."

yukhei rolled his eyes and wiggled his way out of jungwoo's grasp which caused a noise of protest to escape the sophomore's lips. jungwoo let himself fall completely onto the couch, nearly falling asleep until yukhei grabbed his small hands in his own large ones and tugged him upwards.

"asshole," jungwoo hissed, fixing his posture and sliding his laptop back onto his lap. yukhei laughed loudly as he walked into the make-shift kitchen, pulling out a packet of chips that seemed extremely unhealthy to be in the cabinet of two health freaks. in the back of his mind yukhei thought jungwoo must have bought the chips for him as he loved sweets and chips. the chinese male shrugged it off and padded back to the shoddy couch.

upon his arrival, yukhei noticed jungwoo was fully back into work-mode; earbuds in and all. at another time yukhei would be completely content—happy, even—to simply watch and admire his boyfriend who dedicated so much time to his passion while staying afloat in college at the same time but currently yukhei was utterly bored with life. he settled with turning on the television, a chinese movie that huang zitao featured in appearing on the screen. yukhei breathily laughed at his boyfriend's antics and love for exo.
