James

James ran for what seemed like forever until he reached a very small town. After he had gathered his things back at the community, he started to hear gunshots and men yelling. James was glad that he escaped the raid safely without encountering any of the government soldiers that had returned. All he remembered was running towards the woods, climbing a huge wall and then finding the road he ended up following for a while.

James stopped running and rested his hands on his knees as he hunched over and caught his breath. He looked at the small town and realized it was just a couple of buildings in the middle of nowhere. There was a small gas station with the lights on inside and a couple of gift shops that seemed closed on the other side of the street. James' stomach growled like a dying seal and he decided to look for something to eat.

As he opened the door to the gas station, the little bell rang above his head making him jump.

"Little jumpy are ya?" said the woman behind the counter. She looked about mid-thirties and was obviously bored. Her stare was dangerously flirty with her vibrant blue eyes. Her uniform was very tight fitting, enlarging her breasts as she sat on the counter behind the cash register.

"Uh yeah, I guess," James replied walking toward the candy section, not interested in anything the woman said. He had to stay calm and collected so he didn't seem suspicious, like back in the old days.

James scanned over the chips and candy picking out a couple of things for himself. He then made his way towards the fridges full of alcohol. The drinking age limit was twenty-one years outside of the community, but that didn't stop James. He opened the cold fridge and grabbed a bottle of UV Vodka Sugar Crush. The coldness from the glass bottle felt good in his palm.

As he made his way towards the cash register, he tried avoiding eye contact with the woman. He waited patiently for her to get off the counter while looking at the different packs of cigarettes that were behind the glass counter. When he turned to face her she bent down, resting her chest on the counter giving James a clear view of her cleavage. James quickly looked at her face with an unimpressed look. He wasn't really one for classic seduction methods. He was a more romantic guy. When she realized he wasn't into it she sighed and pulled her shirt up a bit and grabbed the scanner.

"You don't look like the kinda guy I want anyway." She mumbled under breath. She rang up the items and put her hand out for James' I.D. James pulled out his fake I.D. from his back pocket and set it in her hand. She looked at it for a while, making James nervous, before handing it back to him.

"You'll need a better fake one next time. These expired a year ago. They updated 'em. I know a guy though who can getcha one for forty bucks." Surprised at her response James takes the I.D. and thanked the woman. He paid for the food and stuffed the alcohol in his bag. The woman handed him a card that had an address and a name on it.

"He comes at five am, and 11 pm." She said as James examined the card.

"Thanks and what else does he sell?" James asked curiously.

"If you add fifteen bucks he'll gotcha a gram of grass." She said as she sat back on the counter and grabbed a Playboy magazine.

James thanked the woman and walked out of the gas station with a bottle of vodka in his pack and a name and address on his mind.
