Gabi's POV "Baby, are you gonna go to that X memorial thing Adam's holding on melrose?" I ask Diego.
"Nah I don't think I can." He says and I nod.
"I kinda wanted to go. I know Ethan doesn't want to so I'm gonna ask my friend Olivia." I say.
"Baby. It's gonna be a riot. I don't want you to get hurt." He says.
"I'll be fine. I talked to Lena and she said I could chill with her and Adam and Steven's going." I say.
"Fine. Lemme talk to Adam though so I make sure he watches over you." He says and I smile and playfully roll my eyes.
"Okay, imma go call Liv." I say grabbing my phone and walking out of his bedroom.
"Hey." Liv says.
"Hey, you wanna go to that X memorial thing tonight?" I ask.
"Yeah I'm down. What time?" She asks.
"Uh, I'll text you Diego's address and meet me here in like an hour." I say.
"Okay, what should I wear?" She asks.
"It's gonna be like a riot. And we're gonna be mobbing thorough the streets so don't wear something to nice. Imma probably wear jeans. But I think we're supposed to wear black." I say.
"Okay sounds good." She says.
"Ight. I'll see you in an hour." I say.
"Yup." She replies and I hang up and walk back into Diego's room.
"D, can I borrow the g-wagon?" I ask with puppy dog eyes.
"Ugh Babe. I really don't want people to jump on it." He says.
"No one will I promise. I'll park super far away. I know that if we Uber they're gonna have a really hard time picking us up." I beg a little.
"Fuck I can't say no to you when you make that face." He says and I smile.
"Thank you baby." I say and and give him a small kiss.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah." He says and I smile and text Liv D's address before going into his closet and looking for something to wear.
I grab a black hoodie and jeans and my black converse. I change in his closet and then go into the bathroom and put on a little bit of makeup and put my hair in a messy ponytail.
"This is fine right?" I ask Diego walking out of the bathroom.
"Yeah but I really don't feel comfortable with you going baby. I don't want anything bad to happen to you." Diego says.
"Babe. I promise nothings gonna happen. You talked to Adam. Me and Liv are gonna go early so we're with him and Lena." I say.
"I know. I just worry." Diego says with a cute pout on his face making me go over to him and give him a quick kiss.
"Calm down baby. There's nothing to worry about. I'm gonna be super careful. I promise. And if something does happen I'll call you." I say and he nods.
"Okay." He says and pulls me back in to kiss me.
We both smile causing us to pull away. We go out to the living room and talk until Liv texts me she's here.
"Liv's here. Keys?" I say.
"Here please be careful I don't want anything to happen to my baby." He says all sweetly handing me his keys.
"I promise. I'll be careful. Nothings gonna happen to me." I say.
"Uh, this is awkward. I was talking about my car." He says and I gasp and lightly punch his shoulder.
"Diego!" I yell and he chuckles.
"I'm just kidding babygirl, I love you and be safe." He says and pulls me into him and gives me a sweet kiss.
"Bye D!" I yell walking out of the apartment.
I get in the elevator and go to the garage and I pull out and see Liv and I roll down the window and wave to catch her attention. She sees me and then the car and her eyes widen and she climbs into the passenger side. Her outfit was cute, she was wearing black skinny jeans and

"Wow you have a G-Wagon?" She asks and I giggle and shake my head no.
"It's Diego's just borrowing it so we didn't have to Uber." I say and she nods her head.
We listen to X on the way there and then I park pretty far away.
"I'm sorry I'm parking so far away but Diego will literally kill me if anything happens to his car." I say and she chuckles a little.
"It's okay. I don't mind walking." She says as we get out.
"Okay, well I'm kinda friends with the people running it. Well they're Diego's friends but ya know. Uh Diego's making Adam the guy responsible for this whole thing watch over me so we're probably gonna stay with them so we're not gonna be like in the crowd." I say.
"That's okay. To be honest it's probably better I have a feeling this thing is gonna get pretty crazy." She says and I nod my head agreeing with her.
We finally get in front of the no jumper store and I knock on the door. Adam sees who it is and unlocks it and opens it for us.
"Hey Gabi!" Adam says giving me a quick hug.
"Hey, this is my friend Olivia." I say.
"Nice to meet you." He says.
"You too." Liv replies.
"Lena's over there." He says pointing to the brown haired girl sitting in a chair on her phone.
Me and Liv walk towards her and she looks up and smiles at us.
"Hey, Gabs!" Lena says standing up and giving me a hug.
"Hey Lena. This is Olivia." I say and Lena sends Liv a sweet smile.
"Hi Olivia its nice to meet you." She says.
"Nice to meet you as well. And you can just call me Liv." Liv says with a smile.
"Got it." Lena says smiling back.
"So do you have any idea how this is gonna go down?" I ask.
