Chapter 5

Gabi's POV
"Pleaseeeee!" Diego whines, he's trying to get me to come to the studio with him but I promised Brielle and Emma that I'd hang out with them because lately I've been hanging out with Diego and that's about it.

"No Diego. I already told you I promised Emma and Brielle. I haven't seen them in what feels like forever. I see you everyday." I say trying to put my necklace on but with Diego's arms wrapped around me and his head on my shoulder it's making things difficult.

I was wearing a red bandeau top with a pair of baby blue shorts and white high top converse.

"But I'm gonna miss you." He whines.

"I'll be done by 3." I say.

"That's in like five hours!" Diego groans.

"Your going to the studio. You'll be fine." I say.

"B-but I work better when your there." He complains.

"Diego I'm going to have to kindly ask you to please shut the fuck up." I groan still trying to put my necklace on.

"Fine." He says detaching himself from me, finally I put my necklace on and fix my hair a little bit.

"C'mon munchkin." I say to Diego.

He walks into my arms and gives me a tight hug before letting go.

"I'll text you when we're done and if your still at the studio I'll have Brielle drop me off." I say and he smiles.

"Deal." He says.

"Are you staying here or are you leaving?" I ask.

"Staying, Ethan's gonna come to the studio with me." He says and I nod.

"GABI!" I hear Brielle yell.

"Coming!" I yell trying to move but Diego traps me in his arms.

"Diego. I have to go." I say trying to wiggle out of them.

"Okay, hold on." He mumbles before pressing a sweet kiss to my forehead and letting go of me.

We both walk out of my room and into the living room where Brielle and Ethan were talking.

"Ready?" Brielle asks.

"Yeah." I smile.

"Bye babe, be safe, you two Gabs." Ethan says before kissing his girlfriend and then me on the top of my head.

"I have to pick Emma up." Brielle says as we walk to the elevator and I nod.

I already low key miss Diego. But I'd never admit it not to him, not to anyone.

"So what's been going on with you and Diego?" Bri asks as we get to her car.

"Nothing." I groan.

"Really you guys seem to be getting really close." She says pulling out of the garage.

"Exactly but in a best friend kind of way. I don't like him like that." I say but I'm lying to myself, I know I do like him like that.

"You guys would be really cute together." Brielle says.

"Yeah but I wouldn't want to make Ethan uncomfortable considering he doesn't even like me and Diego as friends and I just don't really have those types of feelings for Diego." I say.

"Who cares about Ethan. If you wanna be with Diego. Be with Diego." Brielle says.

"Hey, do you know if Aidan's tagging along?" I ask changing the subject.

"No Emma said she wasn't super sure." Bri says.

"Okay." I reply as we pull up to Emma's apartment building.

I see her and Aidan walk out so that answers my question.

"Hi guys!" Emma says getting into the car, she's like my favorite person ever, she's so sweet.

"Hi Em! Hi Aidan!" I say.

"Hey!" Aidan says and Brielle says hi to the both of them.

"So I heard a little rumor going around about you and Lil Xan." Aidan says and I roll my eyes.

"From who?" I ask.

"Emma." He says and Emma slaps his shoulder.

"Who told you that?" I ask and she points to Brielle and Brielle smiles innocently.

"Really Bri? It's not even true!!" I whine.

"Okay, you might not be able to tell but everyone else that watches the two of you hang out can tell. He is so clingy and I heard Ethan talking to him and him saying he hasn't been messing around since you've shown up." Brielle says.

"Okay that's actually so sweet and he's totally good looking! What are you doing girl?!" Emma asks me.

"Uh I don't know if I like him or not!" I groan for like the 10th time.

"Yes you do, stop lying to yourself and us!" Brielle says.

"I'm not lying." I mumble but I was lying.

"Yes you are, your doing that mumble thing. You do like him!" Brielle cheers.

"Okay fine maybe I do but he doesn't like me." I challenge back.

"Sweetie if he didn't like you he wouldn't hang out with you all the time, and he definitely wouldn't have cut his hoes off for you." Aidan says.

"Well fuck. I'm not doing anything about this." I say and Brielle groans.

"What? Why? You both like each other!! Just tell him!" Brielle says.

"It's not that simple." I say.

"Yes it is, but I'm not gonna argue with you. We're here." She says pulling into the mall.

We all get out of the car and go inside and we shop around for a few hours before deciding to eat lunch. We just went to the food court and all got different things. We then went shopping for a little longer but there wasn't a lot of cute stuff so we decided to just leave around 1:30. We dropped Emma and Aidan off at Emma's and then I decided to FaceTime Diego to see if he was still at the studio.

"GABI!!" Diego yells through the scream.

"Hey! I just wanted to see if y'all were still at the studio?" I ask.

"Yeah, y'all are done at the mall?!" Diego asks excitedly.

"Yeah, you want me to come?" I ask.

"Yes!!" Diego shouts making me giggle.

"Okay, I'll be there in a few minutes. I'll text you when I'm close so you can come outside. Also bring your car keys so I can put my bags in your car." I say.

"Okay!" Diego says and I laugh at him.

"Okay, bye Diego." I say.

"Bye baby!" He cheers before I hang up.

"Aw that was so cute. He's so excited to see you." Brielle says starting to head towards the studio.

"Shut up Bri." I complain making her laugh.
