Gabi's POV

Were now home, back in California and Diego is being kicked out of yet another apartment so he has to start looking for a new place.

"Gabs, can me, you and Emma hang out today? Emma just texted me asking." Ethan says walking into my room where I was unpacking due to not being able to do it the night before cause I was exhausted, Diego was sprawled out on my bed still asleep.

"Yeah, thats good, but tell her to come over later so I can finish and send Diego home." I say and Diego peeks his head up.

"What?" He asks pouting.

"D, it's only for a few hours, I just wanna hang out with my friends." I say.

"But, but, I'm gonna miss you. Why can't I hang out with you guys?" He whines and I roll my eyes.

"Diego, you don't even know Emma." I say.

"Yes I do, I know that her names Emma and she has red hair and that she works with Ethan and plays Debbie on shameless." He says and I roll my eyes and look at Ethan who shrugs.

"I wouldn't mind it considering you and Emma usually start talking about girly stuff that I don't understand but you two are not allowed to sit next to each other because if we all hang out this will be a 100% cute free zone. You two are not allowed to cuddle, hug, kiss, or touch each other in any way except a high five." Ethan says and I giggle and roll my eyes and wink at Diego without Ethan seeing.

"Yay, okay." Diego says before laying his head back down and closing his eyes making me shake my head.

"It's good to have you back Gabs." Ethan says kissing the top of my head.

"It's good to be back." I say and he smiles.

"I kinda wish that it was just you, me and Em, don't get me wrong, Diego's one of my best friends but the three of us aren't gonna able to talk as much and I know Em's gonna want to know about that whole promise ring thing and to be honest, so do I." Ethan says.

"We'll tell you, I promise." I say and Ethan smiles and walks out and I finish unpacking before taking a shower, even though I took one last night I just still felt kinda gross from the airport.

After taking my shower, I brush my teeth and wash my face and then I change into shorts and one of Diego's hoodies and I brush through my wet hair and leave it to air dry. Then I decide to do my laundry so I quickly head to the laundry room that Ethan and I thankfully have in our apartment, it's not really a laundry room, it's just a closet with a washer and dryer in it.

"Gabs, Em wants to know if 1 is okay?" Ethan calls from somewhere in the living room.

"Uh, what time is it now?" I ask.

"12:15." Ethan says.

"Yeah, that should be good." I say.

"Okay, she's gonna stop at In-n-Out on her way here, what do you want and what do you think Diego would want?" Ethan asks me.

"Ooh, okay, I want, a bacon cheeseburger, no onion or tomato, fries and a small vanilla milkshake. Diego's fat ass probably wants a double with everything on it, fries and a large vanilla milkshake." I say giggling at the end because of my boyfriends order.

"Okay, thank you, go wake your boyfriend up and make sure he starts getting ready." Ethan says and I nod and walk back to my room and open the door.

"D, come on baby, you gotta wake up if you wanna hang out with me, Ethan and Em, she'll be here in like 45 minutes with In-n-Out and I got you a double cheeseburger with fries and a vanilla milkshake, you're welcome. But I know you wanna shower so go do that." I say pulling on his right arm that was hanging off the bed.
