Gabi's POV
"Hey, D, can I talk to you for a second?" I ask my boyfriend who was laying with his head on my lap while we watched a movie.

I've been in his apartment for the past couple of days to scared to leave him all alone.

"Yeah, what's up?" He asks sitting up to look at me.

"At any point or any time. Whether you think I'm busy or not. If you feel even the slightest bit the way you felt the other day text me or call me so I can be with you. I don't want you to ever have to go through that alone again." I say.

"Baby, I don't want you to have to always feel like you have to drop everything your doing and come running to me. It's usually never as bad as it was a couple of days ago. Usually I can calm myself down." He says but I shake my head no.

"I want to be there for you Diego. It doesn't matter what I'm doing. You are one of the most important people to me. You are one of my top priorities. I would drop anything to be by your side Diego." I say.

"I love you so much baby. You don't even understand." He says.

"I love you too Diego. More than words can describe." I say and he pulls me closer to him and he kisses my lips sweetly.

"The other day when you sat down with me while I was in the middle of a panic attack I felt it all slowly drift away the second you were there. Nothing like that has ever happened before. I have never been able to get that kind of relief from another person, not even my parents. So thanks for that, ya know for like calming me down and making me happy." He says.

"I love you so fucking much Diego. I seriously don't know what I'd do without you. You mean the fucking world to me." I say and he smiles, his real smile, the smile that I'm in love with.

"I love you too Gabi, you make me happy. Like actually legitimately happy." He says.

"Good because I love seeing you smile." I say.

He leans back in and kisses me again but we get interrupted by the door opening and Ethan barging in.

"Fuck y'all I think I just did something bad." Ethan says jumping on the couch in between Diego and I.

"Oh hi Ethan. It's nice to see you and of course you can sit there." I say sarcastically.

"My bad. Hey guys. Diego, how you feeling bud? And can I sit here?" He says and I roll my eyes.

"I'm doing better. A lot better." Diego says.

"Okay, what'd you do?" I ask.

"I just had sex with Brielle." He mumbles and I slap the back of his head.

"You dumbass. Why would you do that?!" I ask as he makes a pained expression and rubs his head where I hit him.

"Cause. I dunno. Fuck. She came over looking for you and then we just started talking and then it fucking happened and I wish I could take it back cause I really don't have feelings for her anymore." Ethan groans rubbing his face.

"She probably thinks that they're still hope for y'all." Diego says and I nod.

"You really fucked up E. These are someone else's feelings and emotions you're messing with. That's not fair." I say.

"You don't think I fucking know that. It just happened." Ethan complains tugging at his hair as he runs his hands through it.

"Well fuck I don't know what to tell you." I mumble rolling my eyes.

"You always know what say." Ethan says.

"Yeah but you really fucked up on this one bud." I say and he rolls his eyes.

"Well fuck do I talk to her and apologize?" Ethan asks.

"I would just ignore her." Diego says.

"Don't fucking ignore her. If she tries to talk to you again. Tell her that what happened between the two of you was just a heat of the moment kinda thing. And that you are sorry for giving her any false hope." I say.

"Okay." Ethan says.

"I really can't believe you did that." I mumble rolling my eyes.

"Sorry not everyone can be as perfect as you." Ethan says rolling his eyes.

"Fuck off E." I mumble.

"Okay. Can we just watch a movie or sum shit. I don't really wanna think bout what I did." Ethan says and I get a text from Kayla asking if I want to go to the mall, I guess I'm gonna have to tell her no cause I'm scared to leave Diego

"Gabs. I know Kayla just texted you. Wherever she asked to go with you, say yes. You've been babysitting my ass for the past couple of days. You deserve to go have fun with your friend that came to visit you from the other side of the country." Diego says and I bit my lip slightly.

"Fuck okay." I say before shooting Kayla a text saying I'd meet her at the mall in like 15 minutes.

"Okay, I guess imma get a Uber. I'll see y'all later maybe." I say standing up and grabbing my backpack.

"Yeah, you gonna come home tonight?" Ethan asks.

"She can't. I gotta surprise for her." Diego replies.

"Okay have fun." Ethan says.

"Bye baby. Just be back here at like 4ish. I love you." Diego says coming over to me and kissing my lips sweetly.

"I love you too." I say smiling.

"Wait hold the fuck up, y'all say I love you now?!" Ethan asks and I blush.

"Uh, I gotta go, bye!!" I yell before running out of his apartment.
