"Blaze?" I called walking into the condo.

"In here!" She announced from the living room.

"Hey. You okay?" I asked sitting next to her.

"Yeah, I guess." She said. I know she's worried about B.

"I'm sorry. He's doing this for you, so you can be worry-free."

"I know. It's not that, I've just been thinking a lot about my- our daughter and..."

"And what?"

"Well I googled the lake and it's just an hour away. Then I found out that there's an orphanage across the street. Do you think Finn could have taken her there?" She said in one breath.

"I don't know." I said. Nothing surprises me anymore when it comes to that bastard.

"Probably not." She said saddened.

I lifted her chin, "We could go there and ask." I told her.
"Okay." She said with a smile. She looked at me once more, "Ken, I wanna leave town. Maybe go get that little house in Savannah. Just start over." She said.

I thought for a minute and grabbed her hand, "I wanna come with you."

"What about your wif-"

"I'll figure that out later. Blaze, I love you and I want to spend forever with you." I confessed.

She smiled and kissed my lips, "I love you too Ken."

"Then let's do it, let's go-"

I pushed Blaze out of the way as some dudes burst through the door with guns. I pulled out my gun as they started shooting. I shot back at them one headshot after another.

Three of them turned into five, but I wasn't backing down. Luckily I still had on my vest because one of of them got a couple shots in before I sent three bullets into his neck and chest. Before long they were all down.

I went in the first guy's pockets and pulled out his wallet. He was a Maverick. Joey thinks B did it and he has plenty of prison connections. Why the hell would they come here?

"Blaze are you okay?" I asked.

"Ken..." I heard faintly.

I quickly turned around and saw that she was bleeding from her stomach, "Oh no. No, baby..." I said as she slowly fell to the ground.

I scooped her up cradling her in my arms, "Stay with me baby." I said as calm as possible as I dialed 911.

"I need an ambulance and police on 23rd street. Third floor apartment 323 NOW!!" I said into the phone before hanging up.

"I'm so...tired." She whispered trying not to close her eyes.

"I know but you gotta keep your eyes open. Okay?"

She nodded, "You ...shouldn't b- be here...Ken." She said as she shivered a little.

"I'm not leaving you." I said as my voice cracked. She was losing a lot of blood.

She raise her hand to touch my face. I kissed it as a tear slipped from her eye, "I love you so much." She whispered.

"I love you too. Which is why you have to stay with me. We're gonna get you to the hospital and you're gonna get better. Then we're gonna find out baby, get in the car, and just drive to Savannah. We can get the most beautiful house, make some more babies, get a dog, and be happy, remember?" I asked thinking about our life together."Remember baby?" I asked again, but heard nothing.

I looked down, "Blaze?" She was gone. I closed her eyes hitting my head against the wall behind me.

More tears cascaded down my face as I softly kissed her lips for the last time. I held her body tightly against mine as I sobbed. I just lost the love of my life.

One of the guys' phones started to ring. I gently laid Blaze down and dug in all of their pockets until I found it. I answered the phone but I didn't say anything.

"Hello?...Is it done? Are they both dead? Helloooo?" I heard a familiar voice ask. I hung up and threw the phone on the ground.

"I'm gonna make them pay for this, okay? I'm gonna make things right." I said to Blaze's lifeless body.

I kissed her forehead before I put my jacket over her as I heard sirens outside. I walked out and went to my car.
