Before going to HPA, you would get made fun of for being a tomboy and wearing boyish cloths. One day you had enough so you cut your hair short and started to use the guys restroom. You were happy the way you did things but your parents and family members didn't like it. They hated it. They would make fun of you, and tell you harsh stuff.
When you went away at Hopes Peak Academy for having the Ultimate Designer, you had to have a roommate so on the papers you marked yourself as male.
You made it to your dorm. You made sure you had all of your bags and your sleeves were all the way down. You didn't want anyone to see your cuts on your wrists.
You set your bags by the bed on one side of the room. You've seen bags by the side of the other bed but you haven't seen your new roommate.
"BOO," a voice said from behind and startled you. You turned around to meet with the short roommate. "You should have seen your face," he started chuckling. "Sorry about that, the names Kokichi! I'm the Ultimate Supreme Leader! Or am I? Nishishi~." "I-I'm (Y/n) (L/n), I'm the Ultimate (T/n), nice to meet you," you walked away and started to unpack your belongings. You could tell that this was going to be interesting.
You did have a bit of trouble with getting ready in the morning and go to bed. It was a struggle to keep a couple of your secrets and making sure he didn't know. Every night, he would non stop ask you questions.
"(Y/n)~ why do you have a feminine name?" "Why do you always wear long sleeves?" "Why don't you sleep in your boxers like any other boy." You would simply role your eyes and fall asleep. The mornings were a bit difficult. You would wake up and Kokichi had pulled a prank on you. "Oops! My bad~," or "Niheehee~ you feel for it!," he would laugh obnoxiously. Besides that, he wasn't really a bad person. The two of you get along well. Even though you hated him pranking you every morning but you found it funny.
One day, in the middle of the year, you came back to your door room later then you usually do. You opened the door and saw Kokichi going through your bags. "Kokichi what the hell," you closed the door and yelled at him. "Y/n, I have to ask you some questions and answer them truthfully. I know when you lie so tell the truth," you noticed a couple of things next to the bag. It was a couple of your binders and a razor that had dried blood stains on it.
"Y/n, I can be an asshole from time to time and I know I don't have the right to go through your stuff. You can trust me and that is the truth. Please tell me everything," Kokichi said in a serious tone.
"..." you stayed silent, slowly started tearing up. "I guess I should tell you now," you sat down on the bed, him next to you, and told him everything that happened when you were little.
You told him how you didn't like being made fun of for acting like a boy and wearing boyish cloths. You cut your hair short and told everyone you were male. It made you happy but your family didn't like it at all. When they first found out they thought it was a faze but no. Even before that, they hated you. They would yell at you and call you stupid, worthless, waste of space and to go end your life. They were glad when you left for Hopes Peak so they could never see you again.
He embraced you into a hug as you cried into his shoulders. "This might seem weird but can I see your cuts?" "... do you mind if I take my shirt off," he shook his head 'no'. You were wearing the binder, and had several cuts and scars on your wrists, arms and torso. Remembering the pain from each scar. He walked into the bathroom and grabbed some bandages. "Let me help you," he said as you nodded. He started wrapping the bandages everywhere and covered the cuts. Once he was done, you threw your shirt back on and sat next to him.
"By the way, why did you decide to go through my bags?"
"Oh I was just trying to see if you had any porno magazines and use them for a prank!"
"KOKICHI!"
"What! You glad I didn't find any~"
"Kind of- just kidding, or am I"
