I can't say it

My eyes started to swell "I..L-" the nurse entered the room and I turned around

"Hey,Mr.Puth,You're gonna be fine,you're allowed to leave tomorrow,but you beed some rest"

"Oh,ok great to know" Charlie smiled at the nurse and looked at me,

"I guess you're gonna take care of me then?" Charlie said jokingly

I tried not to smile..this little weirdo
"well I guess I am" I said laughing

*The day after*
"Should I assist you? I mean,you might fall and hospital fees are expensive,I don't want you to pay that much"

"I didn't broke a bone Mirella,don't worry too much oh my god" Charlie said

"wow,ok" I let go of Charlie and watch him walk on his own

"you walk weird" I said catching up to Charlie teasing him

"You're family didn't visit you" I said frowning

Charlie stopped from what he was doing "I didn't want to tell them.."

"About what?" I said

"about what happened to me the last 2 days"

"what was even the reason you got hit by car"

"The road was dark and I didn't know where I was going...

Charlie's POV
I looked at Mirella because I was completely lying
I was drunk,because I was hurt,I love her and I don't want to look like a fool infront of her

I'm too ashamed to tell her everything I always wanted to tell from the day I saw her

"Hey Mirella we're still friends right?" I asked nervously

Mirella looked at me "Uhm..YES OFCOURSE" she said with joy and enthusiasm

"Oh good,uhm..Thanks for spending time with you,It was great and all,but It's getting late you should go home" I said rushing to get back home..

"Oh..yeh..sure,thanks for being friends again" Mirella smiled and walked home

usually I would drive her to her house,but I don't have my car at the moment

I walked home since It's just down the street and knocked on the door

Mikaela opened the door and hugged me "Charlie! Oh my god I'm so worried about you"

"Where have you been?" Stephen said as he walks outside

"I..I stayed at Shawn's these past days" I said scratching my head

"Mom cooked dinner,you're just in time.." Stephen said as he enters inside and went to the dining room

Mirella's POV
I got home and jumped in my couch

Charlie asked me if we were still friends after those tragic days that went by without him

David went inside my house
"Hey babe,How's it going?"

"oh hey.."

"How's your day?"

"I'm breaking up with you" I looked at David in despair

"What?" He asked in disbelief

"I'm sorry but,I love Charlie,I'm sorry If I felt cold towards you..but we just didn't have that spark,you know?" I said when tears started to fall

David looked at me with anger
"You wasted my time,you wasted all the love I gave to you,If that's what you want both of us to end up,consider us finished."

David walked outside and slammed the door
"I did loved David,but Charlie was the only person I truly loved.."

I'm so stupid. Why can't I say those three words.
