Escorted by the soldier's, Trace and his company finally arrived at one of Bittrost's town. Although there were writings of the town's name, none of them knew what it said. All except Trace, who had learned many language in his past life. The group gawked at the scenery of the town, as the snow-clad scenery was beautiful. People, young and old, shoveling the front of their house to make way to the road, and every one of them are wearing heavy clothing. Some men can be seen chatting and drinking at the porch, and kids are happily playing in the snow. The snow-covered roofs gave the town a tranquil feeling, and the town's warm atmosphere was enough to melt the group's heart.

Liu nudged Trace's side, and spoke in a slightly lower voice. "I thought that Bittrost is in the middle of war, with what the soldiers said, but things couldn't be even more peaceful." Trace nodded, and smiled at him. "I assume that this town is far away from the battlefield." Liu nodded a few times, and looked at the scenery once more. Trace, seeing his friends awed faces, couldn't help but smile.

After walking for almost an hour, the soldiers stopped in front of a large, metal gate. Behind it was a large mansion, with the country's symbol carved on the mansion's wooden door. "Only the representative can come in. The rest will have to wait in the guest house." Trace nodded. "I understand, sir." The soldier nodded, and made way for Trace. Trace turned to his friends, and gestured them to follow the soldiers guiding them to the guest room. The group followed the soldiers as they disappeared into a small house just beside the mansion. Trace looked at the guard and smiled. "Shall we?"

Trace followed the guard into a large room, where a thin man wearing glasses, a tad too big for him, sat behind a mahogany desk. He fixed his glasses as Trace came in, and greeted him with a warm smile. "Greetings, foreign merchant. I heard from my men that you passed the Dragon's Maw to reach my humble town." Trace nodded, returning his smile. "The journey was quite arduous, but my companion and I all agreed that the town's scenery was worth all the danger coming here." The man laughed, and nodded a few times. "That is good to hear." The man fixed his glasses again, and his tone turned serious. "Now, may I see your documents?" Trace nodded, and put all the necessary documents on the mayor's table.

The mayor read through the documents quickly, and after looking through the last documents, the mayor smiled, and took off his glasses. "All of your documents is indeed valid, and I have also confirmed the seal was indeed real." The mayor stood up from his seat, and stretched his hand toward Trace. "Welcome to Queendom of Bittrost, merchants of Lumen." Trace greeted his hand warmly, and shook it firmly once. The mayor released his hand, and sat back down. "The soldier who brought you here shall guide you around town, and you may pick up your friends after." Trace nodded, and smiled. "I understand."

Trace looked around town with the guard and after two hours, he came back to the front of the mayor's mansion. The soldier saluted to Trace, before returning to his post. Trace sighed, and went to the guest house where his friends stayed. He opened the door and saw his friends happily chatting as they drank a muddy-brown drink. "What are you guys drinking?" Everyone turned toward him and smiled. Melody took a cup from the tray, and walked near Trace. She offered the cup to Trace, and Trace took it. Trace recognized the smell, and took a sip. "As I thought, this is Vesral juice, isn't it?"

Melody was quite surprised when she saw her brother's reaction. "You knew what this was?" Trace laughed and waved his arms in denial. "The soldier who escorted me around town said something about Bittrost's specialty drink. I just assumed this was the drink he was talking about." "I see... what do you think?" Trace hummed and nodded a few times. "We can definitely sell these back at Lumen. I think it'll give us quite a nice profit." Fang laughed and shrugged. "Spoken like a true merchant!" The room erupted into laughter, and after speaking for a while longer, the group went out of the house to look for a place to stay. Trace thanked the soldiers who escorted them, and walked around town until the sun sets.
