Chapter- 22 : Unleash The Magic

It's been few days since Dick and I confronted each other. We have been cool about that matter and decided not to be too cosy with each other. We both are in mount justice waiting for mission.

That's when Batman walked in with Red Tornado giving them coordinates of missing Dr Fate in past few days as everybody was concerned in their own way. Nelson was a big part of the league along with others and his disappearance brought a risk to the mystical dimension of our world. For any place it needs to be taken care of by at least one guardian and without that having the whole place on mercy of others was a big mistake. We were watching the holographic map in front of us where the coordinates keep being scattered due to some unearthly magical presence.

I know that presence..."Klarion..." I muttered without noticing all the glances on me which made me sigh and look over at them "we have to get to the tower of fate and retrieve the helmet! If Kent isnt there it means his helmet is still there and we need to get there before they does...otherwise if they have it..." my concerned look bothered them all as Batman was nodding to it as well.

After discussion we all got up in bioship  before a girl with black hair came running there and started to breathe heavily calling us "HEY WAIT FOR ME!" Argh..I would recognize that voice anywhere. The one and only...Zatanna Zatara. Sarcarm is dripping from my thoughts. (No offence to any Zatanna fans here!😐 It's just for the story. Hope its understandable)

I groaned from that voice as I kept walking while looking down at the ground when I bumped into a tall figure in front of me and immediately two hands held me straight. Wally. I would know this presence anywhere as he was chuckling in his usual self and looked at me. "Watch where you're going Spidey". I rolled my eyes and pushed him aside playfully making him chuckle more as he poked my back and pointed towards Dick as we all could see him hugging Zatanna making me ball my fist. "Why are you showing me that West?" "Umm if you think I wouldnt be knowing about this small thing going on in between you two then you're wrong." He stated making me sigh and keep walking inside keeping my cool when I could hear Zatanna looking for her seats as Miss Martian spoke up "Zatanna we would love to have you but we dont have more seats.."

"No worries! She can have Spidey's! Right?" Robin spoke up making me feel uncomfortably angry.. was it jealousy?...ofcourse... ofcourse it was. I was jealous. "But where am I gonna sit?" I asked out of curiosity when Wally suddenly pulled me on his seat and let me sit on half of it as he oatted my head like a child. "We will share! Got it! What's best friends for then! Oi Robin is it OKAY?!" I punched his shoulder when he did that as Dick clearly nodded with a grin on his face and sat beside her with a huge smile.

"That son of a b****" I cursed under my breath as Wally chuckled clearly hearing it from being so close as i glared at him and slapped his arm again "What's so funny huh!"
"Well well well what can I say. You and me sharing a seat. Remember I still havent left my hopes on you babe~" he said in his same flirty tone which made me stare at him blankly and slap his hand again making him hug me tightly as I gave up "Geesh West!" He looked up at me with his cheeky grin which made me smile automatically as if he knew which buttons to push on me. Being a best friend he never ceases to make me smile when I think it's impossible. That ride was surprisingly calming as Wally kept blabbering nonsense about all the magic is bluff even tho he have seen me using it. Guess idiots never learn. Well...one good hearted idiot.

When we reached there Miss Martian hid her bioship in distance while we walked towards the tower of fate when an apparition of Kent Nelson looked over us and asked us to explain why we were there to which when I was walking to answer it someone ran past me and stood in the front answering "we are true believers searching for Dr Fate!" Guess who. That's right! Wally. Idiot. A complete idiot!!
