Chapter-18 : Infiltrator

August 8th :-

Gotham City

Dick's POV :

I woke up early as usual. I trained with Bruce for few hours. I had my breakfast and got suited up. Well since our school almost had a call with Damage Control we'll be having a week off.

Mount Justice :

Good for me....I can put my mind on the Team effort thing. I zeta-ed myself to the Mount Justice. I had my phone out and was currently looking at the picture of me and San together. We were laughing, looking at each other like we have no worries of the world. She makes me forget that we are superheroes and we have responsibilities. She makes me feel that I am her world. And these three days staying away from each other is like somebody's killing me.

What is happening to me? Don't know. I just want to meet her , talk with her and hug her as tightly as I can. I know she promised me that she'll come and make my day worth while but how? Are we going to sneak out or something.....

I was cut out from my thoughts when Megan came in with Kaldaur and Conner. They were all wearing swimming suits. Megan was wearing a two piece bikini while two boys were wearing trunks. Megan squilled "Robin would you like to come and hit the beach with us....you know hang out as team"

I nodded and went to my room in here to change. I kept some extra clothes here.....you know if I decided to stay anytime then. I wore a red and blue trunk with dark black goggles and headed to the beach.

Megan declared once she breathe ins the sea wind " Hello Megan we should hit the beach everyday"

I bowled my head and muttered "First a moment of silence for our absent comrade "

We all enjoyed our beach day. We cannonballed in the water, Played beach ball, ate hot dogs and burgers and buried Conner in the sand.

It didn't last long when we heard Batman's voice calling us to get ready for something.

Meanwhile in Watch Tower ~

My POV :

I watched the surveillance cameras of Mount while munching on apple. Yeah I am a fruit kind of person.

I laughed and rolled on the ground after watching them act like little playful children on the beach. Poor Wally suffering the school all alone. But Don't ya worry....I will be bringing storm now.

I turned on my communicator and connected with Green Arrow " What's the position? " I asked.
He replied " All done but I am worried about the team.....if they thinks about her as a replacement th---" I cut him off
" Ba---ba--ba--pa....no they will not....or maybe at first but that's why I will be there for....just don't mess up. Uncle Ollie you can do this" I switched it off.

I looked at my personal secret surveillance cameras set for every young hero to keep an eye on. Right now I am watching Roy....wow he changed his costume...good. And why is he fighting assassins of League of Shadows. I turned on the voice recognizer and heard everything....his little not so good protection mission and his recent problems he want help with.

I looked at the Mount's cameras to see everybody gathered in front of the zeta room. Except three leaguers and a new protege.

I kept the speaker from my ear down and switched off the cameras. This room is only for me. I look after everybody here. So without my permission. No entry.

I took my mask back on and flipped my ponytail in it's place allowing the mask just on my forehead. As I said my mask is not fully covered it leaves the hair portion uncovered. When I am in costume my hair remains black but a pink and two glittery silver streak runs from the centre.
