True friends are never apart

Maybe in distance,

but never in heart

----------

EVIE, MAL AND I SPLIT UP from the boys and were headed to Lady Tremaine's place, where the granddaughter of Evil Stepmom and daughter of Drizella, Dizzy, worked involuntarily. The boys had taken the limo to get off the Isle and would come back before noon tomorrow with the wand. At least, they would if things went as well as planned.

The Isle had turned colder as the skies turned even darker. The sun had gone down about an hour ago, giving the Isle an eerie feeling. The cold wind blew my hair back and made my cheeks rosy. I pulled my shredded jacket closer, trying to preserve the warmth. All three of us kept quiet. Mal seemed to be deep in thought, while Evie seemed excited and nervous at the same time. She hadn't seen the little girl she viewed a sister since we left for Auradon. She was probably nervous about Dizzy's reaction, seeing as she wasn't able to give the little girl a proper goodbye. She kept twirling her hair between her fingers and I couldn't help but smile as I grabbed her hand to stop her.

"I remember you saying something about how that's bad for your hair." I chuckled and let go. Evie smiled sheepishly. "Dizzy is gonna ecstatic to see you, E. Stop worrying," I told her.

"You think so?" She wondered nervously.

"I know so." Mal joined in, interrupted from her thoughts. "Practically the first thing she did when I went there was ask if you were back as well," Mal reassured Evie. I nodded.

"The girl loves you too much to not be happy to see you." I agreed. Evie smiled and gave a nod in thanks.

We got to the door of Lady Tremaine's place and entered quietly. We found Dizzy working on something at her desk. Evie gasped when she saw Dizzy and a huge smile spread across her face. She had really missed the hyperactive girl when we were in Auradon. Evie shushed us and I understood that she wanted to surprise Dizzy so I nodded. Evie walked up behind Dizzy and knelt down next to her, her bright smile not leaving her face.

"Evie?" Dizzy asked in disbelief." Evie! You came back!"Dizzy cheered and attacked Evie in a hug.

"Hey, so great to see you too," Mal stated sarcastically from beside me. I bumped her shoulder.

"Hey, you can't complain, you saw her earlier. I just got ignored while I haven't seen her since we left." I joked. Dizzy turned around with a big smile.

"Hadee!" She exclaimed and hugged me too. I had spent some time with Dizzy before so I knew her fairly well.

Dizzy let go after the short hug and quickly turned back to Evie. They held each other's hands and started talking, completely ignoring Mal and my presence. I turned to Mal with a disbelieving look.

"Hey it's better than nothing, I guess." Mal laughed. I chuckled.

"True, I don't stand a chance here." I nodded and so did Mal. We turned back to Evie and Dizzy.

"I saved your scrapbook for you," Dizzy told Evie.

"You did?" Evie asked in disbelief. Dizzy nodded and went to get it. I started wandering around the place aimlessly and Mal followed. I grabbed some random, funky-looking pair of scissors and then put them down again. Mal came to stand next to me and looked at me from the corner of her eyes.

"You know, Harry asked about you." She told me randomly. I scoffed.

"He did? Why?" I asked, uninterested. She kept quiet so I turned to look at her, only to find her staring at me. I raised an eyebrow at her. "What?"
