"I just want to check on her," Addy whispers

"I just want to check on her," Addy whispers.

"She's fine," Brett whispers back harshly.

I drift somehow back to sleep after that. I wake up later, my right ankle throbbed in pain and I couldn't remember why it did. I crawl out of my bed and head for the door. My legs were weak, and I had to hold on to the wall for support. Holy shit. My right ankle sizzled in pain as I tried to walk on it. I get to the door and turn the handle and hop while pulling the door open.  It was unusually dark; why was I up this late? I reach out for something to grab and my hand found nothing, I fell forward on the floor. I tried multiple times to try to get up, but my ankle wouldn't allow me to stand without screaming in pain. I eventually gave up on the idea of trying to get up and I just lay there with my eyes closed in defeat, tears streaming down my face. Why does this always happen?  After what seems like an eternity, a pair of arms picks me up. The arms set me in a bed and I pull the arms, pulling them into the bed with me, not caring who it was at this point.

I woke up with someone caressing my hair. My eyes flutter, my vision was blurry at first, but after a couple seconds it clears up. Addy sat on the bed, next to me, playing with my hair, about to drift to sleep. My stirring must've woke her up, because she looks down and smiles.

"Well finally, sleeping beauty woke up. How are you feeling honey," she says.

Always acting like a mother, I think. I give her the okay signal and try to sit up, and failed. Addy helps me sit up and I look around the room, panic sets in as I realize that this isn't my room. I look towards Addy and give her a sheepish look.

"You got up early this morning, tried to get out of your room, Hunter heard you fall and picked you up and thought it'd be best to keep you in his room," she rolls her eyes. "He continued to watch you through the night. I don't know why he didn't wake me up," she gruns.

I nod my head, and think to myself about how Addy really doesn't like Hunter.

"You must be hungry, I'll go make you something." she says as she rushed out of the room.

I looked around the room, trying to distract myself from my splitting pain that takes over my head. The door swings open suddenly, and light fills the room, making my head pound even more causing me to hide under the covers.

The door shuts. "Oh, shoot. I'm sorry! I forgot you were in here," Hunter apologizes.

I peek my eyes over covers and look over at Hunter. He was wearing sweatpants, and a t-shirt. He looked incredible. Mmmmm. I just couldn't take my eyes off him. I look to his lips and I remember how good they tasted, like cinnamon. Memories of kissing him flood my mind, and I can't honestly say I felt guilty for kissing him. I stare at his lips hoping that I'd get to kiss him again. I snap out of my day dreams when I realize that Hunter is crouching by the bed and is talking to me.

"You took a pretty bad fall. You rolled your ankle, and cut your head open. You're lucky I'm in Pre-Med," he says with a wink.

I shrug my shoulders. "And maybe I wouldn't have done it, if I hadn't kissed you the night before," I jab back at him. Wait, did I really just say that?!?!
