I wake up with the brightness of blue and red flashing lights and someone asking if I'm alright. I try reach up to touch my head which is pounding, but my arm is unable to move. I groan out at the intense pain that pluses through my head.
"Ma'am, are you alright? We'll get you out of there in a moment," a man says.
What the hell did I just do? My vision is slowly trying to focus on and I look straight in front of me, at the semi. The driver's side was had a massive dent in it, which I assumed you could fit the truck I was sitting in, in it. The door was off, obviously taken off by the firefighters who were trying to get the driver out of the car to assess his injuries. I groan at the man, trying to make out something, but it fails. My head feels fuzzy again and I drift away to some dark place. I wake up again in an ambulance, the silver and white being too bright for my eyes.
"Ma'am, you were in an accident. Can you tell me your name," the man asks.
"Eleanor...Eleanor Stevens," I whisper.
"Okay, Eleanor. I'm going to need you to stay awake, okay? Don't go back to sleep," the man says.
I nod slowly. I'll try. I try to fight the darkness that washes over me, but I can't overcome it, because it takes over my whole body. This is finally it, death. The darkness washes over me and I realize I never got to say goodbye...

I wake up at some point in the middle of the night, or that's what I assume by the darkness that cloaks the room. I look over to the coach, hoping to see Hunter. Why? He wouldn't show up, he's mad at you remember. Addy takes over the couch and she looks sad and worried in her sleep. Why did I expect Hunter to come? I knew after all the stunts I pulled that he definitely hated me. Not only would I lose someone I might even possibly love, but my best friend as well. I close my eyes trying to hold back the tears and subside the pain that pound in my head. I eventually calm myself and then slip back into the darkness.
I wake up to the sound of the door flying open, I slowly open my eyes and I find Hunter there. He came?!? Hunter looks towards Addy as if contemplating whether he should wake her. I shift quietly in the bed and Hunter's eyes snap to me. I slowly blink, just to make sure that I'm not dreaming anymore.
Hunter looks like he hasn't slept for days, but yet he's still able to bring a smile on his face, "Good morning."
A faint smile appears on my face and soon washes away as I realize why I'm in the hospital, "I'm sorry," I whisper.
He chuckles and steps closer before planting a kiss on my forehead.
"You're sorry? You shouldn't be sorry. I should be sorry, if I wasn't so hardheaded and foolish you wouldn't have gotten into that car with that guy. You knew him, didn't you? He was a high school friend," I nod slowly. "God , I'm so stupid. Can you forgive me? No, of course you can't I almost got you kill-"
