The sound of my door swooshing open wakes me up. What the hell? I sit up, and turn to the door. Hunter is standing there, with a finger to his lips. I lay back down hoping that he'll go away so I could go to sleep. I'm seriously tired of his crap. I was snoring away until a knee hits me in the stomach. My eyes fly out and I find Hunter right above me. My face scrunches together, angry.
"What," Hunter laughs.
"You woke me up!"
Hunter ruffles my hair. "Oh, come on! Let's go do something fun," he pleads.
"No. I want to sleep and then I'm cleaning the house, like Addy asked us too. Maybe you should actually listen."
"Oh, come on! Stop being a party pooper," he whines.
I point to the door and Hunter leaves. My eyes close and I begin to drift asleep, until blaring rock music startles me awake. I get up from my bed angrily and change into jeans and a t-shirt. I walk to the kitchen and pick up the list of things that needed to be done. The list read: clean bathrooms, living room, dining room, buy food, buy alcohol. I obviously couldn't do the last thing and I left that to Brett or Addy, or maybe even Hunter. I decide to start cleaning the bathroom, I grab the cleaning supplies under the kitchen sink and head to the bathroom. I open the door and Hunter stands there in a towel. I scream and turn around.
"Oh geez El. Next time knock," He jokes.
"I'm sorry," I mumble.
Hunter turns me around. "Ellie, I'm only kidding. Come on, lighten up."
Hunter pushes me up against the wall, the heat radiating off of him. Hunter looks between my eyes and my lips, a complex face on his face. He slowly leans down and kisses me. My hands reach to tangle in his hair as he continues to kiss me, I try to pull away only to realize that I want the kiss more. Dammit Hunter. Eventually, Hunter pulls back.
"I'm sorry, I just," he mumbles.
"It's fine," I stutter.
Hunter steps around me and walks to his room. I stand up against the bathroom wall breathless. I can't believe what just happened. I sat up against the wall replaying the moment over and over again. I kneel to the ground and sit there for a few moments before getting up and start cleaning. Within twenty minutes I have fully cleaned the bathroom. I pull the cleaning supplies under the kitchen sink, and walk to Hunter's room. I knock three times before entering, Hunter is sitting on his desk typing a paper on his laptop.
"I'm going to the store, so come with me," I ask quietly.
"Is that a question or demand," Hunter chuckles.
"Both," I smile slightly.
Hunter stands up from the chair, and grabs my hand and leads me out of the house. I open up the driver's side door and hop into my Jeep, and Hunter does the same on the passenger side. It takes thirty minutes to get to the store, it wasn't a bad drive except for the fact it was awkward between Hunter and I. I pulled into the parking lot and parked as close as I could, which actually wasn't that close. Hunter walked around the car and proceeded to help me out of the car. I can't believe I kissed him like that.
