Where did I travel to? I was definitely not at home. I looked around at my surroundings.

This was such a beautiful place, that I didn’t even care. It was a glorious meadow on the top of a mountain. There was a slight breeze and everything felt wonderful. I took a deep breath and lay down in the tall grass, having the aroma of tulips, primroses, and lavender. There was so much lavender. Those were always Mom’s favorite. The sun was just beginning to set; it made the sky a beautiful blood orange pastel color.

I heard something and sat upright. Someone was calling my name. Who could it be? I thought I was alone in this glorious meadow on a hill. They called my name again. I turned myself around.

It was. I-it can’t be.

Mom! Dad!

I ran to them as fast as I could. Faster and faster. But wait, nothing was happening. I looked down at my feet to find that I was not going anywhere. They are only getting farther and farther away. They’re not moving how could this be!

All of a sudden the meadow around me was in flames. I screamed for Mom and Dad, but I couldn’t find them. I was alone. The fire was getting closer to me. What do I do? Wait, I do what Katy always told me to do when I’m scared. Close your eyes, and think of something nice. Close my eyes, and think of something nice. Close my eyes. Close my eyes. Think of something nice.
