Escape the Night 1 (Pt. 2)

Mina's POV

"Why don't we distract them by throwing something?"Rosanna suggested, "I would rather not die"I say looking down at the bodies lying there. Rosanna then throws her dog out of the carriage and one of the clowns find, "damnit Ro!"I say as the ferris wheel all of a sudden starts moving.

Momo's POV

The ferris wheel starts moving and I see one of the clowns dead center waiting for us. "I say we make a run for it"I say and Mat looks at me, "Not a bad plan"He says and I smile. All four of us soon get down, but before we reach clown lady the woman who we met before hits her behind the leg and the clown falls.

We get to her and we run away into a tent full of different things. I look at Mina who is contemplating on what is exactly happening, Someone turns me around and I see MatPat. "Are you alright? You aren't hurt right?"He asked and I nod smiling. "Don't worry about Matthew, I'm okay"I say. "Yeah because that goofy smile of yours says YEAH IM TOTALLY FINE ABOUT THE FACT THAT WE ALMOST DIED"Mina says sarcastically looking around.

"Don't be so mean to her"Mat says holding my hand, "Don't worry about it Mat, it's a habit of hers to be super sarcastic"I say and she nods. Mat and I thank the woman for helping us as we look around trying to figure out what to do from here.

Maddison's POV

Everyone who was in the arcade was trying to collect themselves of what just happened. Nikita, Teala and Manny ask Mortimer if was okay, since his mom just died. It's sad, nobody besides the guest at the dinner party died... Well Sarah did and Aurthur, but they were bad!! He tells us that the jack in the box was one of the carnival masters artifacts. There's that word again, that triggers my mind!!

Maddie, I swear if you're just gonna complain-

MATTHEW I SWEAR TO GOD WHEN I DIE I WILL PUNCH YOU SQUARE IN THE JAW!!

Alright, I'll be quiet.

Mortimer tells us that the carnival master has been using those artifacts to corrupt the town for years, and his mother just seemed to push it aside like it was nothing. I use my powers to tell Mina to write that down in the notebook.

I look around to see if their was anything that could help us in this situation and I find a box with the colors red, blue, green and yellow. We look around for those four colors and no one seems to find them, but Teala and I notice that their is a pin ball machine with those exact colors in order.

We then realize that it was off, and we needed to turn it on. Manny then says that we need to erase the scores on the side of each machine, as we all do so a sentence gets formed. Tap six times on glass, after Safiya does so the pin ball machine turns on.

We all take turns trying to hit the colors and if we hit one then the color on the box will open up. The red one was the hardest one for everyone, so I step up and try and hit and I hit the red card, and now the box has opened up.

In the box was a note saying that we needed to fix the broken pieces of the jack in the box. If we finish putting the jack in the box all together all the clowns will disappear, sound familiar. If we do something correct and finish it something will disappear.

Momo's POV

We were looking at the newspaper to try and figure out a clue. "The hats, their... markings to help us"Mina says already looking around. "Damn, she's pretty smart"Mat says and I nod with a lump in my throat. "Y-Yeah... totally smart..."I say helping them out.

MatPat and I find a pillow with that symbol, Rosanna finds a pinata with that symbol. Rosanna hits the griaffe with a bat opening it up, Ro and Mina pour out the candy and I find a piece of something. "Guys look!"I say holding it up.
