"Why were you in my room?" Mike asked with his teeth together as he dragged Eddie to the kitchen away from everybody.
"I don't know, I got bored..." Eddie answered nervously. Mike rolled his eyes and turned his attention to Dustin who seemed to be in destress.
"What do you want, Dustin?" Mike asked, clearly annoyed.
"Sandy wants to hang out! Keith told me!"
"You really trust Keith? He's been working at the arcade for years and eating cheetos AND trying to get a date with Nancy for forever."
"Ok, I understand that. So I went home and called her to ask to hangout. She laughed and said that she was glad that Keith actually passed on the message!" Dustin yelled in bliss.
"Ok, get ready. Casual but nice. Cologne, brush hair and teeth, I really gotta go. Good luck. Over." Mike chuckled at his friend and soon realized that Eddie was still there.
"Mike?" Eddie asked before mike could leave.
"Yeah?"
"Why you throwing shade?" Eddie asked, hands on his hips like a mother about to whoop her child.
"It's a long story." Mike shrugged.
"Oh, I've got time."
"Fine. I think that you're cute and I don't like that because I'm "supposed" to be strait or whatever. Is that what you wanted to hear?" Mike said without hesitation. He'd lost almost all of his shyness and replaced it with anger and sadness.
"Let's talk about this where your family can't hear." Eddie smiled softly, walking up the stairs to Mikes room.
"Mike."
"Eddie." He smirked. Eddie rolled his eyes.
"Ok, look. I know that I'm like, SUPER sexy or whatever, but you just met me. You can't just go around saying you like guys that you met a few hours ago!"
"Do you don't think I'm cute?" Mike asked, a light pink blush crawling up his cheeks.
"I never said that." Eddie blushed too.
"EDDIE COME HERE WE ARE EATING DINNER!" Richie screamed.
"Ah— fuck." Eddie sighed, glancing at mike as he opened the door. Mike smiled, suddenly shy. Eddies blush grew to a deep red all over his freckled cheeks.

"Are you sure you all can't stay? It certainly wouldn't be a problem, you're all so great." Karen wheeler tried to convince the losers club to stay.
"Oh god no! We've attempted losers' club sleepovers multiple times and somehow it always ends in someone punching someone else." Beverly explained as she laughed.
"Yeah! I remember because we made bill and Richie play seven minutes in heaven together and they only lasted two minutes in the closet before they almost Killed each other." Eddie added.
Richie and bill looked at each other and then fist pumped.
Mike chuckled at the kids. They are idiots.
"Well can one of you stay? Ed's?" Richie pleaded as he'd rather not be alone with people he'd just met.
"Alright, but if you call me Ed's again I'll knock your teeth in." Eddie rolled his eyes.
"Oh. Ok Ed's." Richie smiled mischievously, ruffling the smaller boy's hair.

In the basement mike set up two sleeping bags and made it nice and comfy for the two boys.
"Oh, shit!" Richie yelled in realization.
"Whats up?" Mike asked, looking up from fluffing the pillow that eddies head would rest on.
"We left our bags at the hotel! No Pyjamas." Richie shrugged. Eddie looked at mike helplessly and nodded, confirming what Richie had said.
"It's alright. I've got clothes, I mean we are like, identical. Eddie can wear some old clothes that I haven't thrown out yet. I'll go get 'em." Mike offered.

The lanky boy sprinted up the carpeted stairs and into his room.
"Mike, would you please sleep on the couch downstairs? Just for tonight so the boys feel comfortable."
"Yea, yea! That's great, mom! Just gotta grab them some pjs!" He yelled, stubbing his toe on the doorframe while running in.
"Oh! Fuck!"
"LANGUAGE!!"

Mike
I grabbed the box that was supposed to be sent away and pulled out a navy blue sweatshirt and some sweatpants. I rummaged around in the box but these seemed to be the only clothes that would fit Eddie.

This is what El wore when you met her

Fuck el- Jane. I picked up my bottle of cologne and spritzed it in the air, waving the clothes around in the speckles of the scent. Now eddies clothes will smell nice. I quickly took some plaid pyjamas from my drawer and folded all of the clothing, looking at my hair in the mirror before heading back downstairs to give the boys their clothes.

"Thank you Mike." Eddie grinned as he took the soft clothing in his hands he rubbed it on his face because of how fluffy it was but his smile only grew bigger when he got a whiff of my cologne that was on it. I continued to watch him until Richie cleared his throat, waiting for his pjs. I blushed and gave them to him, grabbing myself a blanket and pillow for the night and setting up on the small and uncomfortable couch.

In the middle of the night I got up for some water as I usually had my mug from my bedside table. I quietly ran up the stairs and filled up my cup. I looked over at the clock and it read "4:16am. Oh, so it wasn't the middle of the night, in fact it was almost the morning. I was not looking forwards to introducing everybody to the party, but I knew I'd have to, they were sure to come over. I'd also probably be forced to show everybody around town, I know how my mom is. As I was sipping on the icy water, lost in my thoughts, a certain brown haired boy softly walked into the kitchen.
"HOLy shit Mike!" He whisper yelled, holding a small hand on his heart and looking at me with wide eyes. His eyes were so pretty, a mixture of chocolate and coffee with cream, the gold of an angles halo and the long luscious black, slightly curled lashes almost looked fake, but surely Eddie hadn't put on fake eyelashes during the night.
"Hellloooooo miiiiike!" Eddie snapped me out of my trance, waving a soft hand in front of my face. I smiled softly and took his hand, bringing it down away from my face and letting go once I knew he wouldn't bring it up again.
"Why are you up so early?" He questioned.
"I could ask you the same thing." I smiled, in my mind it was a cute smile but thinking back it was most definitely a grin. Eddie rolled his eyes at me.
"I asked you first!" He whined.
"I was thirsty. I got up for water." I told him.
"Oh. Well, I wanted water too." He said, matter-of-factly.
"Alright, feel free." I said, passing him a cup. Suddenly, the small watch on his wrist made a beeping noise, splitting the still silence with its urgent ness. He groaned out an "I know!" And pressed a button, silencing it. He quietly looked at me and began back downstairs quickly, almost falling down. I heard a distant zip and watched as he ran back up with a small container of pills. They raddled in their plastic cup as he walked. Then he filled the red cup I'd given him with water and plopped one blue pill in his mouth.
"Disgusting." He mumbled under his breath as he put the cap back on and placed the cup in the sink.
"Hey, mike?" He asked.
"Mhm?" I wasn't really paying attention, or that's what I was trying to seem like.
"Could you maybe not mention this to my friends?" He asked quietly.
"What?" I looked up from my nails that I'd been picking at.
"Can you just not tell 'em that I took that pill? They think I'm off  'em but they're for my anxiety and I think my moms right for just this once..." he rambled.
"Yeah, Yeah. It's fine, my mouth is closed." I said, calming the rambling boy down. He nodded shortly and began down again. I followed closely behind.
"Hey, Ed's?"
"Don't fucking call me that." Eddie said, half joking half serious.
"Uh, I've gotta ask you something." I mumbled. He just continued to look at me, which I took as a 'go on'.
"Could we pretend to hate each other? You know, until I'm ready to come out?" I whispered finally looking into his shimmering eyes.
"Yeah, no problem." He smiled softly and waved a small hand before climbing back into his sleeping bag and turning to face the other way.
