"Jeongguk, please stay with me..." You begged as you held his fragile arm. You rested your face onto his cold chest as you let out a sob.

Jeongguk let out a weak smile and tried his best to hold your hand tighter, but he was too weak to do so.

Everything just had to go down the hill, everything just had to be destroyed. All just because of one single person and Jeongguk's own stubborness.

He was met into a car accident since he was trying to find some music to play while he was walking down the pedestrian crossing.

Since he had his earpiece on and music blasting into his ear, he didn't realise that a car was speeding right at him.

Apparently, the break in the car was spoilt all of a sudden. The driver tried his best to honk at Jeongguk, but he didn't listen.

The car hit Jeongguk in a swift and fast movement, causing Jeongguk to end up flying in the air and land flat down, injuring his whole body.

Some passer-bys began to take photos and videos so that their posts could go viral, while other kind ones called the ambulance.

Once the ambulance arrived, they quickly sent Jeongguk and the driver to the hospital since the both of them were badly injured.

But when they reached the hospital, they were informed that there was a lack of doctors since there was an increase in the amount of patients that day.

They had to work on one of them first before working on the other.

Jeongguk, being the dumb yet kindhearted one, told the doctor to let the driver go first. It was his fault that this accident happened.

The doctors looked at Jeongguk worridly but Jeongguk begged the doctors to let the driver go first as he will feel guilty for life even though the driver was not as injured as him.

The doctors sighed and had to accept what Jeongguk wanted, causing his condition to deteriorate even more by every second.

Now, Jeongguk was lying limp on the hospital bed, staring into space. His whole body was pale, including those used to be soft and sweet pink lips that you loved to kiss.

"Please stay, I beg you. Be strong for me, please." You begged. Even though the doctors have attended to Jeongguk already, he had lost too much blood and his systems are failing.

There was no way to save the man, so they quickly called you and the rest of his hyungs to quickly visit him.

The rest of the members stood at the side, not wanting to say a single word as they are afraid that they might cry.

They know that if they cry, Jeongguk would be even more heartbroken than he already is.

Jeongguk shook his head slowly at your request. "I can... feel it coming already..." He whispered, still trying his best to smile and put a strong image for the seven of you.

"Stop smiling! Stop smiling when you are already dying. Don't curse yourself, Jeongguk! Just be strong and everything will be okay! You are still young, you won't die!" You cried out and hugged him tightly.

You were about to lose that amazing boyfriend whom you love so much since young. The boyfriend that gave you everything, the boyfriend who is willing to sacrifice anything for your happiness, but not today.

He promised you that he will marry you, give you a very good life. But now? He was dying.

Today, he is slowly losing his life and he now longer has the strength to stay alive.

"Don't... cry..." Jeongguk whispered again as he slowly began to close his eyes.

"JEONGGUK, PLEASE STAY!" You cried out, trying to shake him.

"It's...alright... One last...request?" He asked, his voice slowly fading away.

"WHAT IS IT IDIOT!" You cried, not wanting to lose him. You were angry that he was not willing to stay alive.

"Sing...for me..." He said, smiling weakly once again.

You nod and began to sing for him.

"It's alright, now count 1, 2, 3 and forget."

You started, as you watch his hand slowly lose his grip from yours. But you continued, you want to fulfill Jeongguk's last request.

"Erase all sad memories"

Jeongguk breathing started to slow down a lot more.

"Hold my hand and smile"

But the smile that Jeongguk wore was slowly fading. At this sight, everyone has already burst into tears.

"It's alright, now count 1, 2, 3 and forget"

His eyes were already fully closed, not having enough strength to open those heavy lidded eyes.

"Erase all sad memories"

He whispered with all the small amount of strength he had left, "I love all of you guys... Please be happy and forgive me..."

"Hold each others hands and smile"

The line on the heart monitor turned into a straight line. Despite Jeongguk not being to hear anything, you continued nonetheless, voice trembling. The rest of the members were crying hard.

"Still, I hope there will be good days
If you believe me, 1, 2, 3
If you believe me, 1, 2, 3
Still, I hope there are way more good days
If you believe me, 1, 2, 3
If you believe me, 1, 2, 3

1, 2, 3
Then everything will change
For better days
Because we’re together"

He is dead. Jeongguk is gone...
