Sometimes it's easier to believe the bad things than the good.
Sometimes it's easier to feel sad than happy.
Sometimes it's easier to let everyone else win and to not give it your all.
Sometimes it's easier to give in to your bad thoughts and relapse than to cope and move on.
Sometimes it's easier to be angry and hate someone or something than to figure out a solution in a mature way.
Sometimes it's easier to stay inside all day and cry about how you never get to doing something you always wanted to do than to actually do it.
Sometimes it's easier to push everyone away and isolate yourself than to let everyone inside and let them love you and take care of you.
Sometimes it's easier to deny everything than to accept the truth.
Sometimes it's easier to let your thoughts overwhelm you than to cope with them and think rationally.
Sometimes it's easier to expect bad things than to expect good.
Sometimes it's easier to let hatred in than to let love in.
It's easier to give up and die than to fight back and live.
But that's okay - recovery is hard. It's difficult, and no matter how easy others make it look and sound, they're wrong. It's a difficult, long, and agonising process, but it's worth it.
After all, you don't see ants giving up when the journey home gets too long.
