When I dig into my wrists with the sharpest of knives,
Only then do I suddenly feel alive. And when the blood soon stops dripping and flowing out of me,
Only then will I suddenly feel glee.So when I swallow the pills with a bottle of bleach,
Only then will happiness be within my reach. And when I jump into the bottomless abyss below,
Only then will my true depression show.So when you're sobbing at my funeral,
Don't you dare say you cared - you didn't care at all!Don't sit there crying and saying how much you loved me!
If you loved me, you would have seen.
You would have seen what I was going through,
You would have seen what I was about to do.Don't you dare say you'll miss me when you didn't realize,
That these things are happening every day of our lives. Now, hun, I ain't blaming you for my own dumb choice,
I'm the idiot who decided not to use my voice.I'm saying you can prevent this from happening to others.
Be there for your friends, your family, a stranger - you can save another.
Now, hun, I ain't done yet - I've got more to say.
If you're feeling the way that I feel today,
I want you to know that you've gotta stay. For your mothers, your fathers, your brothers, and sisters,
You've gotta stay in this world for your misses and misters. So, hun, stay alive.
Stay alive for me.
