Dan and Phil

Chapter 9- Dan and Phil

I walked down the steps of my apartment and was about to go and get a cab when, I saw what I couldn't believe but expected at some point. There was Dan and Phil walking down the steps of the opposing apartment. They were talking to each other and Phil had some sort of black back pack slung over his shoulder. Dan casually pointed up at me and then Phil also looked up and they both flailed there arms in an attempt maybe to say hello. I waved back shyly. They jogged over to me while I just stood there awkwardly shuffling my feet.

When they finally made it too me, Dan started,

"Your Kat, right? I watch your YouTube channel, actually Phil and I both do! It's great! love your Short Films and all!"

"Oh, thanks." I shyly replied. Whenever I meet new people, I'm always so shy. but when I get to know them, I can do the craziest things.

There was a small awkward silence until Phil began,

"So, you...want is to drive you too, um, Charlie's place?"

That's weird. he seemed nervous.

"Uh, sure I guess if it's not a problem." I said now attempting to make eye contact.

Less awkward Dan chimed in, " Oh, not at all! we were just heading there for the...hehe...big surprise." To be honest, I am a little bit scared of what is to come in the next couple of hours that await me.

"Well, then let's go!" I said.

All three of is hopped into the car, Dan driving, and I hopped into the back with Phil.

"Hey!" Phil quickly reached his hand out of his pocket to wave robotically. "Hi!" I also waved but I managed to hit myself in the eye in the process.

"Ow."

"You okay?" Phil said quickly as he scooted a bit closer to me.

"Yea, just fine. There's just a little blurry spot now." I said as I blinked away the light.

"Oh look at you too, so adorable." Dan said without turning around.

I looked out the window to hide my slight smile, but right before I turned I think I saw Phil blush. All of this felt so surreal, I couldn't even believe it. Charlie, Pj, now Dan and Phil? How could it get any better than this? Little did I know what was to come in the following hours of what was to be, quite possibly the best 3 days of my life.
