15. His Luna

Here it is, on popular demand, Dan's pov :D

Dan:>

"What is it Ethan?" I asked my Beta in frustration.

He has been buzzing around my head all day like an irritating bee. Now that I'm on my way home, I know he's dying to get his nose into my personal business.

"Are you going home Alpha?" he asked.

"Depends on which home you're talking about" I replied opening the driver's door of my jeep.

"Can I get a lift?" he asked.

"No"

I started pulling out of the driveway when Ethan jumped in on the passenger seat with a grim smile "Can I grab a drink at your place?" he asked "Sapphire wouldn't let me bring those out in front of the kids after Keith accidently gulped a mouthful last month" Keith's Ethan's youngest pup. That one's a handful.

I sighed "I know what you are doing Ethan. I already have a mom; I don't need you nagging my head off"

He shook his head silently but said nothing.

We soon reached my place. It was the place mom and I moved in to when I first came to the pack. It's close to the mansion and still gives me my privacy from the bunch of nosy people living there. Happy people give me allergy.

I set the glasses and ice bucket down as Ethan walked into the living room with two bottles of wine.

I narrowed my eyes at him "Really?"

He shrugged "You need this" he said with confidence, daring me to prove him wrong.

I nodded silently and slumped down on the couch.

"How did it happen?" he asked as he handed me a drink.

I rubbed my hand over my face trying to keep my tiredness at bay "I don't know"

"Are you sure" he asked hesitantly.

I nodded "I wish I wasn't sure. I wish this was all a dream I could wake up from" I roughly tugged at my hair in frustration.

"She's with a child" he said slowly "She has a husband"

"She's mine" I corrected him.

"Yes, but...." He began.

I shook my head "Nothing else matters. I'll take care of everything else. Earthly vows she took with another man don't tie her to him. She's a part of my soul. She's mine and no one else's"

He groaned in defeat "How did it happen? I remember going to her sixteenth birthday" he enquired.

"I'm looking for answers" I replied "I too am desperate to know why the goddess would play such a cruel joke on me" I chuckled dryly "She was in my arm and I pushed her away because I thought she wasn't mine. I too need answers" I gritted my jaws together.

"It's a mess" Ethan sighed "What are you going to do about it?"

"What do you think I should do little brother?" I looked at him with a smirk.

He sat there silently staring at me, thinking. I turned away from his prying gaze to refill my glass. This is the point where he starts lecturing me.

"I think you should do whatever it takes to stop yourself from dying" I looked at him as he spoke "Goddess knows I freak out every time you vanish for days" he gritted his jaws together to keep his wolf in restraint.
