So I hope you all liked Martha's little bio piece. The reason why I have her dislike fires is because the British burned the Capital on August 24, 1814. Since Martha was only about 6 at the time, it left her with deep mental scares and recurring nightmares that last for the whole week the 24th falls on. She is only afraid of wild fires and burning buildings, not controlled ones like bonfires or camp fires.
